Frost Delay, but worth the wait.
Great course in great shape. My tee time was at 7:40 a.m. but with frost on the greens, did not tee off until 9:30. Was paired with 3 guys who work there, and their course knowledge helped me play the course well. Will definitely return one day.
Dubs dreadful
They sold my yardage laser!!! Aerated greens made putting difficult and the guy was watering them for the first four holes while we played. My fourth was gone and asked for a rain check.....you guessed it "nope". I think just given the aeration the guy shouldn't say well that's "impossible" for me to give you a rain check because it was a "hot deal". Won't be going back. I understand that greens need to be aerated, but it was like they were working on every hole we went to. It began to become kind of a joke for us.
Unfortunate, because it is a challenging course, pace of play was excellent and the Marshals were friendly. The club pro or manager needs to work on customer service though.

Course was in good shape and greens were too even though they had just aerated.
Love the course. Only problemwas it was just airyated.
Long with blind shots
Challenging layout, nice course and in good not excellent condition. People really need to fix their divots and I felt like the greens were a little inconsistent on speed, some were baked out and fast. It's tuff to find your ball out here with many blind shots. You also get a lot of roll out here so look further than where you think your ball should be.

Great Course, Slow Pace
Had a great time out at Dubs Dread, budgeted about 4 hours for 2 of us to finish 18 holes but we only ended up making it through 12 holes. We were waiting for about 10 minutes at every tee box before we could hit. Marshal was starting to get on the groups ahead but not until it was too late for us. Great course, well kept, will play again just when I have a entire day free.
Challenging Even From Front Tees
A long course, especially for women and older men. Not “friendly “ at all for senior women. But it’s beautiful with all the rain in August.

The course was in great shape and I had a great time with the twosome I played with.
Best Condition I’ve Seen DD in…..
We had a nice round this past Saturday. Pace was good except toward the end where it stacked on the par 3 16th hole. Greens were in great condition and despite it being late-July, the course was lush. A bit pricy in my opinion but we could get a before noon time which seems impossible to get anymore at the local KC area courses.
Things I liked:
- Wonderful old architecture golf course. Tall trees, wide sloping fairways, tough doglegs, long par 4s, fun par 3s.
- Course conditions were excellent.
- Very fair greens, in great condition, that were not “tricked up” in terms of slopes or speeds.
- I would play this course every weekend.
Things I did not like:
- Cannot think of anything.
Things important to me:
- Cart rates are posted online, but not walking rates.
- Though a bit of a challenge, this course was a pleasure to walk.
- I don’t recall any water coolers out on the course.
- Their branded ball marker is cool.
