St. Petersburg Country Club

I've played here a few times but the course conditions were the best I've seen. Greens were quick and true. And if you were in the fairway you could pretty much assume it would be a good lie. For $34 it was a great deal, and that wasn't a 'Hot Deal'. ( The 'Hot Deal" was $40. Huh? ).

The fairways, greens and tee boxes were all in very good condition. The layout was challenging but fair. Some wide fairways mixed with some narrow ones. Practice facilities were pretty nice. Friendly staff. Nice, newer golf carts. The only negatives were the surrounding neighborhood was pretty ugly and run down and there’s not too much shade. Being close to the bay made for some nice breeze though to compensate for lack of shade. Enjoyable round of golf

Solid track. Tee boxes, fairways, greens in above average condition.

It was like a movie were all the good parts were in the trailer

The pictures on Golf Now showed only the good hole with white sandy bunkers were most of the hole the bunkers were mediocre at best. Decent corse, but don't expect a REAL country club experience.

After playing SPCC twice this week, I was very pleased with the pace of play (3.5 hours), excellent full grass fairways (no bare spots), same with the tees. In spite of the green aeration and top-dressing over a week ago, the greens were pretty good and will be excellent once grown in. Check in was a breeze with friendly staff. A plus was staff picking up my clubs and setting up my cart for the round. The practice area for the irons is on mats while woods are on grass in an area adjoining the irons area. There’s a well conditioned practice green and chipping area. I did not use the restaurant. Overall. a very positive experience on other days.

Played 18 on 4/26/19 with my son. The staff was very attentive meeting us at car to deliver our cart. Pro-shop staff were very friendly and accommodating. Course had just received some rain but fairways dried out quickly and were rolling out. Greens in great shape and pretty quick and true. very enjoyable experience and would highly reccommend.

Had another great day with friends at st. Pete. Hooked up with a single for a fun foursome. Played in great conditions in under 4 hours. Wish it was more readily available to play. One of our favorites in the area..

The course was in good condition got paired with to great guys of the same ability. Overall a fun day. The rental clubs were expensive, one set was brand new the other was a mix of old brand clubs which couldn't use. Wasted money we shared one set..

Best Golf Now course in the area. I try to play once during my vacation every year. Greens are a highlight. 3 1/2 hour round pace was great too.

Fairways excellent. Greens very small, well bunkered, good condition but had a hard time reading them. Bunker sand was hard.

Course is nothing special, but still enjoyed playing. Not overly difficult.

Overall a very enjoyable round.
