Will not come back
5 hour and 30 minute round. No pace of play management or ranger. Cart girl came once as cart broke down. Fairways are like hitting off concrete. Greens are hard and bumpy.
I will return to driving farther to get a well maintained course that I can play in 4 hours
Slow pace of play
Let's start with the good. my buddy and I enjoyed the weather and our company, including Karen, a lady that joined us at the start. She plays here often and was very helpful navigating the course. The bad; pace of play was terrible. Took 5 hours to play on a Wednesday afternoon. There was no marshal on the course either. The starter was a bit of a tool. Yelled at me to tee off on the first hole even though there was a group in the fairway. I won't write what I told him in return! Finally, the course was in mediocre condition. The greens were completely dormant, very thin, with no overseed. Did not make for a good golfing experience. It was our first and last time there.
Nice layout. Fair condition.
Bardmoor had very good reviews so I added to our list for a Tampa golf trip. We thought we got a deal at $90 for the round which the course listed at $125. We found out that others only paid $55. The conditions were good, but not great.
Winter Classic
It was cold and breezy but the course was in good winter shape and the greens were rolling fast.
good layout
Greens were in very poor condition. And the pace was unacceptable.
Won't be back!
Disappointed
I have been going to this course for many years. This is the first time I have been really disappointed. I realize it is winter but conditions were terrible. Pace of play was slow. The group ahead of us were slow, loud and inconsiderate. Groups were backed up behind us, frustrated.
Bardmoor a Solid Choice
Have played this course off and on for more than 10 years. Always a consistently well maintained layout. Convenient range and very nice staff.
Fun layout, decent conditions
Course was dry but in good condition. Greens were very fast and a little bumpy in places due to footprints. Love the layout...very challenging but different tee boxes to fit your game.
Bardmoor Golf.
Consistently a great course for the money Facility includes a driving range and nice putting area. Challenging course with water and several bunkers. Staff is friendly and helpful.
It’s nice, but boring.
Honestly, the course is decently kept up, but the ranger needs to keep his hands to himself. He was very passively aggressive. He got angry that I was checking in on the first hole, and then afterward, while I was speaking to someone from my cart on the first hole, he came up behind me and pushed my shoulder to get my attention.
There’s a difference between tapping someone on the shoulder and pushing them, and the fact that he started our interaction aggressively didn’t make me happy that he then decided to touch me. Honestly, I think it’s a young-person thing—every older guy he spoke to was treated like an old friend he was catching up with, but every younger person was treated with some level of disrespect.
