Great condition, great layout, slow play
Tee boxes and fairways are in great shape with plenty of healthy green grass. Greens were amazing, fast and firm with a little bit of a bite on approach shots. The layout is challenging. Plenty of trees, water and sand to avoid. It's not a rip it and find it course. The pace of play was painfully slow at 5 hours. If the price was under $60, I'd give Bardmoor 5 stars. I'll be back.
Good greens, recovering fairways
We got lucky and got in before late round rush of Friday and PDP pass players. Greens rolled good and fairways are decent. Got good rate on Golfnow and no complaints.
Good course and will be back
Bardmoor is a great track. They punched the greens(small holes), but it's that time of year. Enjoy the course, and will be back
Bardmoor needs a marshall
Do don't waste your time. Very very slow! Teed off with no groups on number one green, and by hole 4 there was 4. / 4somes on number on 4. quit after 9 holes.
Challenging course with great layout in solid condition
Bardmoor was an absolute pleasure to play, and I can truly say that the experience from check-in, to finish was pretty solid. The course was actually in very good condition, and the tee boxes definitely live up to their reputation which has been mentioned many times. They weren’t beat up, the grass was cut nicely, and they were nice and level. Fairways were pretty acceptable, and not patchy. While the greens had been recently sanded it’s not anything to whine about because my putts rolled fine and if anything I had to really commit to my line and speed and let’em roll. My only “negative” experience was the pace of play. There were quite a few groups of 3 & 4 who were really slow taking what seemed like an exuberant amount of practice swings, and they were taking forever on the putting greens. By the time I got to the back nine things sped up and the pace of play got back to what I’m usually used to. Kudos to the beverage cart girl making multiple passes. During my time on the course she’d made about 5 passes total which was pretty impressive.
Fun Course not fun people
Enjoyed the difficulty of the course and the conditions it was in other than the bunkers but that was more than likely due to rain. Charged me an extra $45 to have my girlfriend ride in the cart which costed me more than my actual tee time which shouldn’t be a thing which was very frustrating. Then a few holes into the back 9 i caught up to a foursome because I was a single. They were playing very slow and I had asked multiple times to play through because I was on a time crunch and everytime they had refused. I was waiting about 5 minutes between each shot which was very frustrating watching an 80 year old man take his 5 practice swing for a 2 foot putt. Due to me being on a time crunch i skipped ahead to the 18th hole when they had started on the 17th and then right as i was about to tee off they finish the hole and start yelling and calling me a word i cannot say I tried to explain my self I had just wanted to finish my round really fast because of my time crunch but they did not listen. and went ahead to the silver tees preventing me from hitting from the gold tees so I decided to leave wishing them luck on finishing their round. Just the lack of consideration and not letting me play through was very frustrating.
Public golf
The course overall was in good condition. Greens were great and the tea boxes most of them in good shape. Some fairways and bunkers needed work but not too bad. The overall problem with playing here is the pace. It's very slow and nobody knows how to play ready Golf and the rangers don't do anything to make that happen. It's a good course for the value.
Green Grass
Given the drought conditions of the area, The Greens Keeper has done a superb job in managing all aspects of the course. Tee boxs and greens are in exceptional condition in comparison to other public courses. Fairway lies are tight, but at least they have grass! Bunkers could use some work, but overall the course was in excellent shape.
Great shape
Of course is in better shape than most very good time
Decent trqck but had some inconsistencies on the greens
Track is not bad but there were some 2-4 inch gouges in the greens. Not divots more like a greenskeeper depressions. For 130 in may there are better choices
Rain
The course was great but it rained for about an hour and i didn’t get a rain check or a credit at all. I’m sad.
