Course was in ok shape. Pace of play was ABYSMAL!!!!
A few groups ahead of us was a SLOW 5some. They trimmed down to a 4 some at the turn - but still OVERLY SLOW. At times there were 4 groups on a hole (par 3s). Where is the Marshall telling these people to let faster groups go through??!!

The course is far from perfect but they do their best considering the amount of business they get, but it's fun.That's all that matters.

Good enough for the location
Very slow paced, no course management for slow players

Pheasant
It was busy with a bachelor party. So front desk mentioned it would be good to START on the back 9.
Which took a while, really not a big deal.
When we arrived on the front 9 to start on hole 1. The gentleman from the desk arrived and asked if he saw me on hole 4. Which I answered no sir it wasn’t me.
Which he assumed I was lying I suppose because he asked again two more times.
Then said well you only paid for nine and were closing mind you extremely ignorant with the way he went about it.
So I said okay proceeded to cart to pick up wife whom walked inside clubhouse to use the facilities and grab something to snack on.
He went in and spoke to her with the most disrespect she said she’d ever encountered.
To where she mentioned she thought he was joking with how rude it was.
I don’t think this gentleman should work with the public!

Course conditions
Good layout for a Par 3. The course was in terrible shape and there were irrigation system issues on about half the course. Greens were dinged up pretty bad. For the price though, it is a great value to sharpen your iron game.

Family Time
Over the last year ut has been difficult for family to get together, as my children are all grown and married. Playing golf at Pheasant Run has been one of those times when there was some level of normalcy, we played many times over the summer and it was always a pleasant experience, the staff is always helpful, prices are excellent and the course is in as good of a shape as can be expected. We look forward to many more rounds this summer.
Pace of Play Too Slow
We had several groups in front of us where parents were trying to teach their kids and slowing the pace of play. We were waiting 20+ minutes to tee off at holes 1-4. We ended up skipping 3 holes to get in front of them all so we could enjoy our round instead of just sitting around all afternoon.

Beginner course
In fairness, it’s Dec 10 in Missouri so the conditions could be better. Very little grass in the tee boxes or the fairways. The greens were rough and beat up. The staff personnel were super nice and the driving range was okay. Call them for best pricing.
