Seminole Lake Country Club
About
Seminole Lake Country Club offers a landscape that is lush with native Florida vegetation and wildlife, including a family of American Bald Eagles that have made the golf course home. Formerly known as Cunningham Point, the club has been around since the 1930s. Scenic views of Long Bayou complement the enjoyable round of classic Florida golf. The course is challenging but playable with sand and water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The versatile golf course has been host to legends like Arnold Palmer but with five sets of tees it is approachable for a wide range of skill levels. In addition to the golf course, Seminole Lake is equipped with a driving range, short game practice area with a bunker, and two putting greens.

Great Condition
Enjoyed the course very much. The staff were friendly. It definitely helps if you can work the ball left to right but you don’t have to. Greens rolled out a bit and were quite firm. I would definitely play again. One of the staff told us they were getting ready to replace all the greens.
Been playing this course since I was a teenager
I played this course back in the seventies when I was a teenager in high school. It is still a great course to play the staff is always friendly and the time to play is when all the snowbirds go back up north. The prices are cheaper than and of course is not as crowded. But overall for this course being as old as it is it is still a fantastic place to play. Keep up the good work Seminole Lake CC
Looking good
All aspects of the course was.very good. The greens were super fast and hard.
Good shape for Mid May
Staff was friendly both outside and inside the pro shop. Fun and fair layout. Tee boxes were okay, fairways were good, sand traps were good, greens were quick and better than good. Seminole Lake is one of the better overall courses in the area. Will continue to play Seminole Lake when I am in the area.
Only getting the 2nd star bc of the layout.
Seriously do not wast your time here, play anywhere else in Tampa. The course is average at best (greens and tee boxes are okay) but you’re going to be waiting on every single tee box. 4 groups on one hole at one point, not to mention there were multiple groups of at least 6 (see photos) The members are entitled and think they’re the only ones on the course. The ranger/Marshall is zero help whatsoever and laughed about the slow play instead of doing something. For the money you can get way better courses that actually know golf etiquette.
Great value and great condition.
The course was in excellent condition and for an afternoon tee time pace of play was no issue. They are preparing for some renovations to the greens and have begun developing some temporary greens short of the actual ones. Aside from the timeframe renovations will take in the near future, the course was incredibly green and healthy. Certainly looking forward to playing it following the renovations. Enjoyed the experience and would place it as one of the better kept public/semi-private courses in the greater St Pete/Tampa Bay Area. The off-season rate is incredible value for the quality of the course.
Excellent course
The course layout is challenging but ok for an intermediate golfer.
Although work was being done it didn’t prevent us from an excellent round..
Unfortunately there was a group of 12 celebrating a bachelor party in front and we waited at each hole. No ranger came out to speed them up and check on their heavy drinking.
Love, but…
Hard to get tee times because of course quality, but the turf is excellent, cart upgrades are nice, practice area good. Started are always helpful, as are outside staff. Greens are suffering, hopefully salvageable
Good Course but a bit Expensive
Visiting Tampa in April and wanted to play a nice course. The day was very nice as we were paired up with a few locals. The price seemed high for the quality of the golf course overall, but all in all it was nice to play golf since back home we are still waiting for the snow to melt. The price seemed to be due to most of the tee times going to club members.
Very slow start
Fun little course! Pace was great! No complaints!
