Seminole Lake Country Club
About
Seminole Lake Country Club offers a landscape that is lush with native Florida vegetation and wildlife, including a family of American Bald Eagles that have made the golf course home. Formerly known as Cunningham Point, the club has been around since the 1930s. Scenic views of Long Bayou complement the enjoyable round of classic Florida golf. The course is challenging but playable with sand and water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The versatile golf course has been host to legends like Arnold Palmer but with five sets of tees it is approachable for a wide range of skill levels. In addition to the golf course, Seminole Lake is equipped with a driving range, short game practice area with a bunker, and two putting greens.

Serviceable but not a must play
I read some reviews about so play so I wasn't surprised, but it was just as advertised. Packed all over the course with groups too close together. Pretty unorganized operation. I played on a Sunday and they had a shotgun start tournament at 1 playing the first 8 holes. So for my 1230 tee time they sent me to hole 7. Pretty slow back nine and then when I came back around to play the first six holes there were several groups waiting. Course is fun enough and in fine condition. If you can get a deal, I'd recommend just booking a foursome and expect a 5 hour round and maybe some funny business from the clubhouse.
Nice Course. Only took 3 1/2 hours to play!
Seminole Lake was a nice little course close to Madeira Beach. Played as a single and was paired up with a very nice couple and had a fun and relaxing afternoon. The pace of play was amazing; finished the 18 hole round in 3 1/2 hours!
The attendants were caught flat footed and did not have a golf cart available for me until 2 minutes before my round. They had handed a bunch out to their "friends" to sit in around the putting green.
Great staff and members
Marilyn and Sandra were great members. They know golf and are friendly people
Great course
Had a great game. Fast greens in good condition. No beverage cart on the course but apparently 2 tournaments so staff may have busy.
Nice staff.
Seminole
Great staff beautiful course great layout will be playing again on Monday and Wednesday. Glen
Good track for the area
I have played Seminole about a dozen times and was a little disappointed in the greens. Over the last few years the greens have been in exceptional condition, but they look like they are in need of some pretty serious attention. Given the price for the round, I expected more from the overall course, even though the fairways were in pretty good shape.
Nice day
I play this course 1-2 times a month. Close to home and a fun layout. Course is always in good shape tee boxes, fairways, greens, and today I had the pleasure of experiencing the wonderful conditions of the bunkers. A couple greens are noticeably trending in the wrong direction probably just due to a lot of play but overall the greens are better than most. Pace of play was the best I’ve experienced at this course non-summer round, it was also the least crowded I’ve seen non-summer. Personally I think $70-$90 a round is quite high for this course but they seem to be booking with no issues and I always meet seasonal/winter members there this time of year. I will pay the winter rates once a month due to convenience in proximity and it really is an enjoyable course to play.
Good Condition
Course was in great shape. Greens, fairways, bunkers, teeboxes were all on point.
Fun course to play with great greens
Your typical old Florida course but surprisingly the water does not come into play very much at all and the fairways and greens are quite nice especially the greens. The facilities are underwhelming but I wasn't expecting the Ritz-Carlton. It is a really fun course to play with a very friendly Pro Shop and an excellent staff
Looked a few times
Finally decided to give this one a try. Seemed pricey so I waited. Liked the routing of the course. Scenic enough for in the city. House's on most holes. Greens putted well but looked sparse. Rest of the course is about average condition for this time of year. My opinion is it would be better priced about $50. There's much better courses at the $75 price point.
