Seminole Lake Country Club
About
Seminole Lake Country Club offers a landscape that is lush with native Florida vegetation and wildlife, including a family of American Bald Eagles that have made the golf course home. Formerly known as Cunningham Point, the club has been around since the 1930s. Scenic views of Long Bayou complement the enjoyable round of classic Florida golf. The course is challenging but playable with sand and water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The versatile golf course has been host to legends like Arnold Palmer but with five sets of tees it is approachable for a wide range of skill levels. In addition to the golf course, Seminole Lake is equipped with a driving range, short game practice area with a bunker, and two putting greens.

Greens
I loved the greens with the obscure grass species I did not recognize. Rolled very true and with a quicker pace than most public courses.
Seminole
In really good shape even after days of rain. Good drainage. Beautiful bunkers.
100% recommend!
1st time playing the course..got a brief rundown of the course and conditions from Glen in the shop. The paspalum grass on the tees, fairways and greens were in great condition. It's not the longest course in town but it's definately a challenge and worth the visit. Super friendly staff and very good quality golf. Thanks again to Glen S PGA for a great day!
Great purse and people
This is our go-to course when we come to town- the people are great and treat you like you’ve been a member for years!
course was still wet from recent heavy rains in area. All surrounding courses were in same situation. Yet the course was challenging yet fun to play.
Surprised
There was so much rain in the days previous to playing I thought it was going to be a mooshie day.
Surprise....totally perfect!!Greens rolled true and the fairways were.just right.
Decent course when the price is right.
Decent course conditions anytime I play this course. To me, the layout is boring. It’s pretty straight forward and winds through a community. I got a hot deal so price was right, but I would never pay more than $40 to play here even in season. To many better options in the area. Small driving range and a putting green to warm up. Nice water with coolers and ice every 4-5 holes so that’s nice. I would recommend for the right price .
Good Value
Overall I can’t complain for the cost. For the price point of some of the fees I’ve seen, it’s an incredible opportunity. That said, it was just average conditions and a slow pace of play due to an older democratic and a relatively busy course for a weekday afternoon in the summer. I was hoping for slightly better conditions, and was bummed to be behind so many people. I will be back due to close proximity, but was slightly disappointed as I was hoping for better conditions and possibly a bit faster play, but again, for the price, it’s a great opportunity. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Tooo many small member groups
The front nine was great! I was told ..there was no one ahead of me I ran into a foursome. They were super nice and asked me to play through.
Did not see another soul till 10 ..Two of the the threesome invited me to play with them but, the 3rd said no “we’re the nooners” and no one can join us ..I said I understood..but the negative guy said how did I get in front of the foursome...I told him they were very nice and asked me to play through..he took off and played really really slow..I played behind them for 3 holes and then decided to skip a hole..then 2 holes later a “five some”of women...I played patiently behind them hitting lesser clubs and hitting left and right so as not to affect their play..they told the pro desk that I was rude and hitting into them..I couldn’t believe it!!
I told him what I just wrote and he apologized..
Maybe they need a ranger!!
I like the course but not really worth the aggravation..1 star
Awesome, I'll be back
The course was in excellent condition. Yes they were doing an irrigation project, but that didn't effect play at all.
Great course
Greens were done a few weeks ago and are all good now
Slow play
I was not informed in the pro shop that I would be following a league and pace of play was extremely slow.
They working hard to fix the problems on the golf course..
They are installing irrigation, and repairing issues on the golf course..good for them and the playing public!
Next year watch out for a re-emergence of this golf course!
