Chehalem Glenn Golf Club sprawls across beautifully hilly terrain, providing a course that is not for the faint of heart. The course is defined by the dramatic changes in elevation, which can make it tough to walk. The steep hills make this a tough golf course even for high handicappers. Uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies abound and you'll also face forced carries to narrow landing areas as well as blind layup shots. The more open front nine is player friendly and the back nine is where it gets tougher with mostly tree-lined holes and more strategically placed bunkers. The golf course is as scenic as it is challenging with elevated tees and greens that overlooks the surrounding hills and valleys. The beauty and difficulty of the course has built Chehalem Glenn Golf Club a reputation as one of the greater Portland area's must-play courses.

Great course in excellent condition BUT too difficult for me as a 16 handicap
Love this place!
First time playing here and it was a first class experience (except for a few of my drives)!
Love the variety of the different holes and we will definitely be back!
Chehalem challenge
One of my favorite local courses, but also one of the toughest. The greens were great. Only the tee box on 13 seemed extra sandy. Otherwise great conditions around the rest of the course.
Great course, great price.
This course was in great condition for the price point, I was incredibly surprised. The greens rolled quick and true, but not too fast. The fairways were in great shape. Next time I'm in Wilamette Valley, I'll be back to play it again.
The course, while a little hilly, was also a pretty easy walk. The hardest walks are from 8 green to 9 tee and from 9 green to 10 tee. Other than that, it wasn't bad.
They have a great short game area and the putting course is also really fun.
Looking forward to them building a clubhouse and being able to provide food services.

Started on the back nine first, excellent layout on this course.

this is a great course and bargain for the golf. its a tough course and difficult walk, I usually ride. the tee boxes are flat, fairways clean and green consistent. you can't find a better course for the money in the portland metro area.
Beautiful day. Pace was a tad sluggish
I would give 10 out of 10 if the pace of play was a little closer to expected pace. Other than that it was another beautiful day at Chahalem Glenn!
Challenging Course
The course has many elevation changes. It also has many hazards of water and sand traps guarding the greens. Greens were slow when we played
Tough But Fun
I enjoyed this course, but am thankful I played from the white tees rather than farther back. Many holes have forced carries and/or steep hills to contend with. In fact, my wife’s normal driving distance would not allow her to reach the fairway from the red tees on several holes. Definitely wise to plan out your shots before teeing off on each hole. The greens tend to be challenging too, but this is mitigated by the fact that they run relatively slow. Practice area is nice. All in all, a fun place to play.
