Towhee Club

With any club over a wedge, any ball landing on the green wouldn’t hold the green. Greens were sanded but were very dry. Needed a hammer to get a tee into the ground on tee boxes. No water stations on the course but cold bottled water available for free on 1st and 10th holes. Nice array of tee boxes to choose from for all handicap levels. Pace of play was slow due to several large groups playing that day. I thought $90 was about $20 too much for the quality of the course.

Rude people. Course in terrible shapes. Big drains everywhere on fairways and big holes swallow golf shots. Rough tracks in Fairways. Cart lost charge on hole 16. I had to push my own golf cart on last 2 holes uphill. Their staff watched me and didnt help until i was on green at 18 beside clubhouse already. The quality of the course overall sucks. Manager has very smart mouth. He kept trying to get us to eat there when we didnt want to. He said usually 10 carts lose charge everyday and thats normal. 🤣.. unreal... Ive played hundreds of courses. This one is the worst. They coukd give me a free round and I wouldnt be back. Woe 🤣

Had a great round of golf. Then an amazing meal @ their restaurant.

This was a really fun course to play. They keep the pace of play moving and played back to back days at 4 hours each day. Staff was nice and overall everything was great. It would’ve been nice to know the greens just got aerated the Monday before we played. We found out right after we paid for our round. Overall would totally go back but would like the greens to be true.

Fairways were excellent and the greens had really good speed to them. Surface was very smooth and and the greens was well manicured

Greens were punched a few weeks ago.. still puttable just not as smooth as usual. Tee boxes were rock hard ,broke a few tees trying to get them in the ground. Probably from the lack of rain.nice when no one was in front of me. Started at 150 . Was in the bar at 430..

We checked in, paid for 18 and were not told the front nine was closed. While I understand we booked a twilight time, the 9 holes that were open were severely overbooked. When we attempted to make the turn, there were 4 groups waiting to tee off, not including the group teeing off. We asked the front desk about potentially getting a rain check for 9, he was very rude about it. The open 9 holes were in good shape but not worth what we were charged.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience as usual. It would have been nice if they had water more than twice for the players (#1 & #10). Also, there is no way to wash your ball or clubs along the way. As the day became hotter, I feel that they could have done away with the "cart path only" rule.

Wonderful course. Great fairways and greens. Some long carries for this 77year old though. I’m visit grandkids and live in Dallas but when I come back I will definitely play here again.
