Staff
While we were on hole 9 one of our groups drives went into the fairway on hole 1. We waited for the individual who was teeing off on hole one to hit his drive. Then we approached the fairway to hit shot. The individual came driving up in cart and was rude and cussing us for being in fairway on 1. He threatened us saying he worked there and would have us thrown off. Needless to say we went on about our game. We play here often and never have been treated as this individual treated us.
Would have been great to know it was freshly aerated and sanded
This course is great and always in good condition. Was just annoying to find out while walking onto the first green that they were aerated and sanded that day and day before. No mention online or in pro shop.

First time playing
Course greens in good shape. Fairways still need a little work but overall fun casual play day. I would play again. New facilities are very nice great staff and played with very nice pairing.

Nice course but never fails to disappoint
A lot of course improvements but definitely not worth what they charge. The only time i'll play here is when I can't get a tee time at the course I normally play. The round took almost 5 hours. We went into the restaurant at the turn and they informed us they had no food available even though they had a menu on the cart of food items available at the turn. They said it would be at least 20 minutes before any food would be ready - couldn't even get a hot dog.

Yard Markers
Interesting course that crosses the same creek on half of the holes it seems like; very poor yard marker system using only random sprinkler heads; if not on a cart, without a yardage visor, it is very hard to guage distances

Fantastic experience at Towhee
First time playing this course. Loved it! The staff were very friendly, course was in excellent condition, greens were true, new club house is awesome. Will be back!

Weather created some challenges
There was a weather delay, and one of the staff members attempted to call me prior to my tee time. Despite all the challenges with weather related issues, I thought the course staff handled it well. Course is in great shape.

Good Value When Discounted
Greens were not in good shape and recently plugged. Fairways in great shape. I paid $25 below retail. Would only recommend to a friend if cost was reduced.

Course just isn’t nice
Tried it out thinking how bad could it be? Well, there’s just nothing all that nice about the golf course. It’s really not great.
New club house is nice. Staff is great.
I’m a one-and-done visitor. Just can’t get over how awful public golf is near Franklin.

Fast Greens
I love the greens here. To me that is what makes a course. They are always fast which I prefer. I know they have done a ton of work recently which is why the green fees are so high. Not sure it is worth $90 a round but still a fun course

Can’t wait to play again
To start the team of people at the course we’re top notch. From the pro shop team at the desk to the rare Nashville starter at One who kept the times rolling and even gave me a small range bucket to warm up !! Greens were aerated last week so some sandy spot but rolled true and held shots better than expected. Fairways were near perfect rough was high and penalizing traps perfect and tees just good enough. This is a premium course, top tier for the Nashville golfer . Palmer design well worth the drive . Clubhouse was brand new and gorgeous, country club qualities everywhere!!! Lots of water hazards and forced carries from the tee and into the greens . A good challenge on so many shots !!! Play here starting next week and you will be glad you did .

Unacceptable greens
All greens were pure sand, so chipping/pitching/putting was completely unpredictable. Good course to play but not during the aeration process.

New price tag, same golf course
The rates have increased drastically but the quality of golf has not changed. Be advised, this is still a $40 golf course. The quality has not improved. The clubhouse is nice, but that’s not what I’m there for.
