Nice facilities, course in good shape and the staff very friendly. The greens are a little on the slow side.

Pace of play was a bit slow. Course played well though considering the very strong wind. Greens are good and roll true.

Greens rolled nice and were in good shape, but the rye was a bit fuzzy making them a tad slow

Good course. Condition was just average. Both the greens and fairways needed some work. Could be just the lack of rain.

The course layout was very playable for all levels of golfers, but this course gets a ton of play and you are herded off the first tee, there is no separation so you will start backed up and stay that way throughout the whole round. We finished the round in 5 hours. The course and fee were good but the staff was very rude. When we were waiting to tee off, the starter was pointing to the next group in like and saying "you bring your cart up here" pointing to a spot by his feet..REALLY..Very pompus..While waiting in line we also heard a ranger talking to the starter and mentioned that the was a single with a golfnow tee time, and the starter said oh golfnow tee time? I'll fit him in later, tell him to wait. Staff set the stage for a lousy round on a good course.

First off ,the men at the bag drop were very nice and the pro shop was acceptable. The Player Assistant's and the starter on the other hand were rude. The starter "Told" people to move there cart to line up for the tee. He did not ask. The Player Assistant started his gas cart in our back swings a couple of times for no reason whatsoever. If they don't like what they are doing they should find another job. But don't aggrevate the people coming out to play. The greens were extremely shaggy or very bare. Not in good condition at all. The fairways were OK. Tee blocks were a little shaggy but OK. Pace of play was over 2.5 hours on the front. Marshall didn't get the group 2 groups ahead of us to start moving until the 15th hole. After that it finally got moving. Played in 4 hours 40 minutes. As two couples playing from 2 tees, we still waited on every single shot during our round. I don't recommend this course unless you just want cheap golf.

When we arrived for our 12:55pm start at 12:30pm we found out that due to fog in the morning they were putting everyone one out in a scrabble in the afternoon. No one could go out until all the carts were in from the morning groups. Finally got out at 1:50pm and finished at approx. 5:45pm. Getting pretty dark by then but we did get 18 holes in.

Nice layout and great value. The greens need lots of attention.

Both front, and back play completly different. Even the greens changed. Our Foresome played from the tips at 6400 Yards in 4 1/2 hours.. The Greens were excellent, but some holes require target Golf Skills. Overall very fair. I shot 72 from the Senior Tees a week earlier. Today from the tips, I shot 82. Quite a different Course from the Blues.

The foursome behind my foursome had the same tee-time as we did (12:54). It was nearly 1:20 before we tee'd off. We waited nearly 10 minutes at every hole. We only played 17 holes because of darkness. Not a pleasant experience.

While signing up at the pro shop, my putter head cover was stolen and the course management did nothing to help.

Great value! Staff in pro shop and on course are first-rate.

Our foursome was stuck behind two foursomes that were horrendously slow and with all the advance talk the staff gave us on pace of play they did nothing. We usually saw staff just riding around or talking to other staff members but doing nothing. On number 12 a staff member decided it was time to fix fairway divots thus holding us up too. We were on the 15th tee when we finally gave up, 3 3/4 hours to that point. For $10 it was ok but would rather pay $15 and have less golfers and better pace of play. Thank God for the beverage cart, reasonable prices, and the very nice woman working the cart.

We had a great day and loved the course. Fairways were green and nice. Will play again soon.

There are a couple of big plus points here, One is that generally the course doesn't play through houses, although there are a few where they can be seen, and the second is that the rangers actively push slow groups along to get their pace up.

The conditions of the greens, fairways, and tees were all in decent condition. The fairways are usually fairly generous, and there are only a few holes where water is really in play. I've only played here once, but it seemed like the front 9 played tougher than the back.

I'd have no worries about recommending this course.

My first golf outing here in the Villages was a Shotgun start at 8:00 AM on the 8th hole at The Links at Spruce Creek Golf Course. The ball sure doesn't travel near as far here as it does in Colorado!! I was very happy with everything but the Score Card. Unlike most courses I've played the card showed you the shape of the holes. Theirs did not and if I had not been paired with a member I would have had a very difficult time.

Course was in good condition; greens mostly smooth. Staff is one of the best anywhere. A challenge for any level golfer! Lunch was served in only 10 minutes.

I have played this course about a dozen times and have always found it to be in good condition. Moderately challenging overall with some fairly forgiving fairways. Course staff friendly and helpful. Will play this again with my group

Even though the course is only in fair condition due to reworking the greens it is still a good value. Hole 7 is closed and green 18 is a temporary. The greens are under repair with many patches that were done this week. Still playable and am sure they will be in much better condition in a week or two.
