Bulrush Golf Club

This was my first time playing at Bulrush. The set up is kind of interesting, so be aware that you will need a cart to avoid long walks between some holes and to the range. The course was in good shape and the greens were in great shape. The course was challenging because any ball near the woods was lost due to the density of shrubs. Bring an extra ball or three.

I would play here again, especially for some of the cheaper afternoon rates that they have available.

We have played this course twice and had an excellent time both times. The course is challenging and in very good condition. The last time we played the greens were quite fast but in good shape.

It's worth the drive up from the Twin Cities.

This course is worth the trip from the Twin Cities. There are risk/reward holes, demanding drives on some holes and grip it and rip it on other holes, excellent greens, multiple tees for different skill levels, and courteous staff. The clubhouse demonstrates a lack of funding but the course maintenance is perfect. You might need some bug repellent as it is in Minnesota.

very odd layout, first time playing it, but the hole markers are impossible to find on some holes. for instance getting from #4 to #5 was a pain, no clear signage, driving back and forth to figure it out.

I thought the greens we're great. Smooth and true a touch slow but for the most part perfect.

The fairways and traps were the opposite, Traps are hard as cement and not even raked. The fairways have hardly grown in, dandelions in fairways, lots do weeds and of course water still drowning parts of the back nine.

A little disappointed since I typically like playing this course.

The course was is excellent condition. The greens rolled true and the fairways were in great shape. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions. This course is rarely busy and rounds can be played quickly.

For early in the season the course was in pretty good shape. Lots of standing water, especially on the back nine. Carts on path only. Greens were not fast but average speed and rolled true. Routing of holes although tough to figure out because of where the clubhouse is and where it was originally supposed to be is confusing. A good golf experience nonetheless. K

The course is very well maintained and the staff was terrific. Had a slight problem on the back side with some slow play but the staff was notified and took immediate action and slow play was taken care of. Will play again when the opportunity presents itself, wish they were closer.

Greens are great and the course is very well maintained.
I like this course but bring your game, birdies can be made on many holes but if you lose your focus your scorecard will show it. I played on a Wednesday afternoon so pace of play was never an issue. Paid $12.68 on golf now which is an unbelievable deal.

Good challenge for an average golfer overall beautiful view of course and pond structures.

A true hidden gem at a great price from golf now. Don't be fooled by the "open" looking links style holes that you can see while whizzing by on Interstate 35. There are some tight and challenging holes further back from the road that you can't see that make this course an all around challenge for any level of golfer. With great conditions, a great price, and great layout to boot we always try to play here whenever in the area. Play it if you get the chance, and hey, if you don't agree with my review, it didn't cost you much to find out for yourself!

Had a good time playing, the course is in good shaped considering the spring we had. The staff is great, awesome burgers in the bar area. I try to get out here at least once a month.

Course was in fantastic shape. Quick greens and plenty of hazards make it a challenging, yet fun course. Good pace, no backups or waiting, no one pushing from behind. Very enjoyable.
The staff in the clubhouse/bar/restaurant was super friendly and attentive to the patrons, and it was pretty busy. It made for a very fun 19th hole!

Fun course! Be ready to donate a few golf balls if you tend to hit the ball crooked as there are many marshes.

The course was in excellent condition! Good pace of play although the layout is pretty confusing and a long drive from the back 9 to the clubhouse. A great course for the money.

The course was in excellent shape, speed of golfing was good, no pressure. Greens were quick, but greens are quick at all the the other courses near thisone. I will be returning before the snow flies!
