One of my Go-to courses.
Fun course to play. Hard when it should be yet wide well maintained fairways. It has a lot of wet lowlands and bugs can be frustrating but better than past years.
Potential is high
Played this course several times. It's great value for the money and always is in good condition. The only things that are issues, the course layout is "qwerky", according to locals its because the clubhouse is actually the maintenance garage. 9 to 10 and 18 to clubhouse require a filling staion between them. Someday they are going to build a proper clubhouse? Doesn't affect play just confusing for 1st timers. Tee boxes are 6.5/10 but the biggest complaint is the bunkers 4/10, if you're going to have bunlers run a drag or rake around them at least once a week? Not a reason to pass up this hidden beauty in the northern metro, will be back again. Hard to pass up 18 holes/cart for less then $40 on a weekend.
Fun front, challenging back
The front is a nice round and the back is pretty strange. A couple of tee boxes are pretty bad. Overall good time, bring some extra balls and keep your driver in the bag on the back
Good for Price
The back 9 is extremely buggy, there is no water on the course, and no beverage carts either. For $40 I was pleased, but for anything more I would be a bit disappointed
Horrible Management
Fun course, good value but the management and pro shop manager make the course not worth golfing.
Stay away from Pete Larkin in the pro shop, he is very unpleasant and will make up policies that are not documented anywhere.
They won’t let you have a golf cart unless everyone in your tee time has arrived, thus you may wait for a no show or your tee time to pass prior to them providing one.
Play and Hang
Very good bar and value for food and drinks. The course I expected a little more but I’m guessing conditions at the time were tricky to handle. Staff was great and the round was enjoyable. Player friendly set ups and a spot to play for a low scoring round for the experienced golfer. I wouldn’t miss out on stopping for a few drinks and food after the round.
Very nice course
Front line is a lot easier than the back. But the back really gives you a chance to challenge your swing
Hidden Gem
Very nice course. Very similar to Izatys. Super wet from rain but had a great time. The slope is like a 137 so make sure you hit from tees that will suit your game
Hidden gem
If you’re willing to drive a bit, you won’t regret it. This is a beautiful golf course that is in fantastic shape. It’s so fun to play. My first time was an excellent experience. Will definitely be back to play again. The price on Golfnow makes it an excellent value.
Proshop
When checking in, the staff at the Proshop failed to tell us that the back nine was closed due to wet conditions. Also the texting wasn’t working with golf now to inform us that it was cart path only. I would have canceled the reservation if knowing this because we had a couple seniors in the group that had trouble walking to the ball.
A Hidden Gem
I really love this course. It’s a 45 minute drive for me but I make it because I get a fun test of golf on a course in great condition every time. I hit all 14 clubs at this course and with all the different tee options, I think anyone can play here and be challenged.
Best Fairways
Play a lot of different courses and Bulrsh has some of the best fairways and a very challenging layout
New Year 2024
I love playing this course. 600 yd par 5. The par 3's you hafta play over hazardsr. And now they've upgraded the carts !! The Range and the connection from hole #9 to hole #10 are the only oddities. But if you play here multiple times, you learn to prepare. And I'll be prepared MULTIPLE times this year !!
Congrats on opening day
Considering it was opening day for the course, it was in great shape.
Played in 4hours and 15 minutes
Sounds like you have anger issues and step onto golf courses with a premeditated attitude. I know your type well. I work at a Minnesota golf course having worked 5 different golf courses in California and Minnesota over the last 40 years. You're a dime-a-dozen.
