Wintonbury Hills Golf Course

Second time playing the course. Spent $72/plus 24 for a cart on a Saturday. $96 in my world is expensive. Extremely disappointed for the price. the greens were terrible. Not only does the clientele not fix ball marks but many of the greens were very patchy. If you are going to charge that amount your greens need to be exceptional and they were not. I will not play it again. I have played local muni's that had outstanding greens all season for 1/3 less.

This is one of my favorite courses in CT, but $121 is too much for this course. This was the most I ever paid to play here. Its nice but not that nice. Above I said I would recommend to friend but I would have to tell them $121 is too much for it IMO.

Greens long terrible still run okay. Pace was awful way overbooked. Bunkers need work.

Great layout, and conditions were good. Pace of play was incredible. We were a twosome behind a foursome. We teed off around 12:30, and finished before 4:00.

We first played Wintonbury Hills 23 Years ago after Pete Dye completed construction of this amazing course. We have played memorable rounds here every year since!! It is one of our all time favorite golf courses!!

Great layout, great staff, greens run true. Always fun as part of a monthly stop. Special kudos to Bill the starter he always make the visit authentic, real conversations and fun. Thanks Bill, you are one of the good ones! This course is a gem, restaurant staff very friendly, time to upgrade the amenities and hours of operation

A little over priced compared to other courses in the area. Holes 1-4 and 10-13 are very similar to start each 9 . Other holes on each 9 are very interesting and challenging.

Beautiful views while playing, wildlife is amazing and overall a worthwhile experience.

Staff is awesome and everything went smoothly. The group in front of us had multiple holes open in front of them in a mid morning round with no one monitoring pace of play.

One of the nicest courses that I’ve played in the North East! Great layout, extremely well maintained, fast greens! Would recommend to anyone! As a relatively new golfer, this is my third year, it is a challenging course but well worth the lost balls!

Went to play spur of the moment and couldn't have been more pleased. Vibrant green rolling fairways and tricky greens. Staff was awesome! Will be back.

Course and staff are excellent.

It was busy enough for a marshall and beverage cart, neither one was around.

Is pace of play able to be monitored by the cart's tech?

The group ahead of us was off the pace and nobody moved them along.

We also, while waiting to hit to the green on 15, we're hit into by the group behind us, for zero reason we literally were waiting for them to clear, we were addressing our balls and they could see all of it but hit anyway.

Disappointed but love the course.
