TLC Needed
The lay out is good, but the Fairways and greens need help badly. Too bad, but it appears that it has been allowed to deteriorate over time.

We Need Courses Like This!
Golfers who have played this course know that it's not the most pristine of tracks - it definitely needs work. However, I never complain about the conditions at Blue Fox Run because you still have to get the ball in the hole. MORE importantly, they are a course that opens as early in the year as possible and stays open as late in the year as possible - which is critical because when you NEED to get a round in and everyone else is closed - there's a chance they will be open. The staff is very accommodating as well. We had a great experience there on Saturday (4/13).

The person running it was great.
The course has a nice layout it just needs a little TLC. But again it could just be early in the season.

Good for practice
This is a course where you can practice without spending a fortune. But do not expect nice tee boxes, bunkers or fairways. Greens are reasonable.

Needs work, esp Blue side
Played Blue/Red Labor Day weekend. Blue 9 conditions in particular were not good at all. Crabgrass everywhere, even fairways. Sand traps were awful. Effectively no 'edge', and also loaded w crabgrass. Cut an edge at least and pull the weeds. Add some decent sand to cover the packed dirt. Patchy greens.
Red 9 (the one along Nod Rd) was in much better shape, and fairways at least had nice grass and decent greens.
Clubhouse greeter friendly.
We appreciate your feedback about your experience playing the Blue/Red course over Labor Day weekend. We apologize for any negative aspects you encountered, such as the poor conditions on the Blue 9, including crabgrass and poorly-maintained sand traps. We will strive to address these issues by creating defined edges, removing weeds, and adding better sand for future players. We're glad to hear that the Red 9 along Nod Rd was in better shape, with nice grass and decent greens, and we're happy that our clubhouse greeter was friendly.
