White, 2nd, par-3, 226. Playing downhill from an elevated tee, this is what a good par-3 should be. Big, frontal bunkers are hidden from view here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/31/2021

Blue fox run
Course was in pretty rough shape, first time playing there. Didn’t appear like they mowed the fairways as there were long patches everywhere. Tee boxes were not mowed either. Some greens were excellent while others were heavily damaged. Not sure if I went on a day they were under prepared. Fun course VERY confusing to follow as not enough signs on courses. I played red to white.
Thanks.
Enjoyed the course
Once a month we make the hour trip. The course is growing in nicely. Glad to see the guys working on the sprinkler system.

Just ok
The most taken care of parts of the course are near the road…
75% of the Bunkers were terrible 2/10, few of the greens were recked but the others rolled good 7/10 , lotta weeds but the rough was decent , fairways 6.5/10.. pretty wide open , few tight shots , some of the course has high rough instead of trees (just part of the challenge), some cool views , couple of almost island greens , water in play a few holes , no ball washers, good carts, 2 chipping/ putting greens, overall feels like a course that used to be real nice but is slowly falling apart , always take a preferable lie and it’s not so bad , should be 18 and cart $40-50

We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Blue Fox Run Golf Club - White Nine, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Blue fox Avon. Fun
Course is a value course. It is not a top level condition or layout but for the average golfer looking to have fun with friends it was great. Excellent price, good greens, fun layout where you can hit many clubs and choose risk and reward. Nice nature layout ie not surrounded by houses or condos and plenty of privacy on each home so not bumping into others. Good value.
Quarry
Greens belong in a quarry. Cart paths adequate for Euclid or Pay-loader. No water at ll except for Farmington River and few frog ponds. So when temperature went up to 90 unless you brought water you had a problem. Could be a very nice course if owners took care of it.

Blue Fox run in April
It's only April. The grass is barely growing,so it's a little sparse. Very enjoyable tho. Staff is wonderful.

Terrible and totally rundown!
It’s obvious that no money whatsoever is reinvested in the course or facility!! What could have some potential, is just a rundown uncared for dump!

Just another dirt track
Long gone are the days when this was a decent course on par with other local options (i.e. Tunxis). It's now fallen into such disrepair that 2 bridges were completely washed out while 2 others were in very questionable condition. Oh and not to mention a temporary green on white 4 due to a huge pond in the middle of the hole. This was not notified to us when we paid in the clubhouse either. Might want to tell people that you think? In general, it's not worth the 59$ green fee for 18, as there are better options nearby.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review and leave your feedback on your recent round with us. It is always our utmost goal to provide our golfers with a fun and enjoyable time and we apologize if we missed the mark. New Owners bad look
This seriously was one of my favorite courses to play the last two years, never in great shape but for the money I could play for low 20’s walking or mid 30’s low 40’s with a cart. The layout is awesome for scoring always a course that’d I’d be able to go too and feel good about my game. Yesterday was unbelievable, I saw the rise in prices and was confused, but thought wow they must’ve done tons of work to the course in the off-season. So we decided to walk for 30, well here’s the kicker I called and booked my tee time so when we went in to pay he charged us 40 per person even though everywhere says 30 real odd. The kicker we played Reds to whites and it’s the same old blue fox absolutely 0 work done to the course still a temporary green on 13 Whites and still beat up, was a great golf course to play cheap but you can’t be serious charging more than Tunxis get a grip.

March Golf in CT
Enjoyed playing golf in March. Course was in good condition for this time of year. I would have given the course a higher condition rating but they had a temporary green and traps were very wet. But that needs to be expected at a time when play is not usual in CT.
Very friendly staff.
Pace of play was excellent. We did have an early tee time.
