Great course.
Absolutely perfect condition of the course every time I am playing here. I recommended this golf course to any level of the players.
Very nice course in great shape
Saw a round advertised on GolfNow and took advantage as Inknow it will be much more expensive to play the course in the summer. Was not disappointed. Very well maintained.
Slow pace, 5 hours!
5 hour round is pretty brutal. No water refill on the course.
Old dude in pro shop is miseable..
Try Chalet Hills less than couple miles .They have a friendlier staff and it is a better value.
Greens and Tee Boxes Needing Some TLC
I used to play this course frequently. However, the greens and tee boxes need a bit of work. The greens were air rated a few weeks ago butt still haven’t recovered. Not to mention they are pretty beat up and putting is quite challenging. For some reason the course just isn’t the same this season and the are better values for what they are charging.
Do not play at foxford hills
Ttime 10:41 Playing time 5 hours and 10 minutes. Thats right 5 hours plus on a thursday morning. They had a ranger but all he did is talk with the groups Did nothing. He should be fired. I Can you imagine 5hrs plus on a thursday morning. If that wasnt enough the cours needs maintenance. The sand trops were concrete. Little sand that was dired out and was like the gravel in the parking tot. You couldnt rake it. Lots of golf course in the northern suburb of chicago, go somewhere else
Great course
Beautiful course. Well maintained. Will play again. Was a busy Thursday mid day and had a bit of a log jam near end of 18 but great course overall for the price.
Foxford Hills
Nice course in good shape. Carts are nice with GPS. Pace of play slowed by group in front of us and there are no rangers on course. Overall very good afternoon of golf

Punched front 9 greens, pure luck to make a putt right now.

Only reason for 4 star rating for condition is the bunkers
Need a little tlc
Also , need to scrap the rake in the cart

I play all over the Chicago land area and this is one of the best public courses

Thank you for your review. What you failed to mention in your review was that the outing you were part of was the group causing the slow play on the entire course. Maybe you should talk to the commissioner of your Elgin Traveling league instead of writing reviews about the course. Luckily your group will not be welcomed back so you don't have to worry about anything. Thank your own group for that. Have a nice day!
