Great Day at Prairie Isle
We love this course. Many interesting holes, water hazards, changes in elevation, etc. Fairways were outstanding. Sand traps were well kept. Greens were healthy but needed some work. Half of the cart paths are in disrepair.Bar staff and beverage cart were friendly. Pro shop person needed a better attitude as usual.
Good value
Good Value for the Senior rate. Course is very well conditioned. Front nine has several crossing holes that can create hazards, back nine has several tight driving holes, as well as a 90• left dogleg that creates a major bottleneck on hole #11.
Pace of play got quite slow on the back nine, and we did not see any rangers out on the course all Friday afternoon. It became a 5 hour round, but that is the only complaint.
Great course!
Course was in great condition! Hadn’t played for quite awhile and enjoyed playing it again.
My favorite design
I have played this course over the last 3 seasons. Always in good condition and one of my favorite designs. Makes for challenging shot selections and course management and not just length.
First time, will play again
Fun layout, with elevation changes and doglegs, but not annoying target golf. Some parts were downright picturesque. Pretty good condition considering multiple heavy storms in days before we played.
Hidden Gem
The course was in great shape and the staff was outstanding-
5.5 hour round
I quit after 14 holes because we were on pace for a 5.5 hour round. When riding back to the club house I noticed that they allowed groups of 5 in front of us. Besides that I paid $15 for a 2 year old cigar.
Poor Manager
The staff was great. From the counter to the starter, was very friendly and welcoming. The course was great.
Only issue we have had is the management. Several times we ask to speak with the management. The response has been unprofessional and rude.for these reasons we will not be driving to play that course.
Management Doesn't Appreciate Customers
The course is great. The starter at the first hole is great. The members working the counter are great
The manger doesn't value his customers and seems to carry a chip on his shoulders 😳
Other customers have the same experience
Attitude is poor and condescending. The course deserves a better more customers friendly person who wants to be there.
Not the same Prairie Isle
Have been playing this course for over a decade. This was the worst conditions I’ve seen in that timeframe. The greens were in very bad shape. The treacherous cart paths have not been addressed in years and are in really bad shape.. The beverage cart girl just sits in one spot in the shade on her phone and waits for the golfers to come to her. For such a great layout, this course manager could do a better job keeping this course worthy of a $60 green fee..
