Great course
Beautiful course. Well maintained. Will play again. Was a busy Thursday mid day and had a bit of a log jam near end of 18 but great course overall for the price.
Foxford Hills
Nice course in good shape. Carts are nice with GPS. Pace of play slowed by group in front of us and there are no rangers on course. Overall very good afternoon of golf
Punched greens
Punched front 9 greens, pure luck to make a putt right now.
Great Course
One of the best courses in illinois
Great layout
Great staff
Only reason for 4 star rating for condition is the bunkers
Need a little tlc
Also , need to scrap the rake in the cart
Just a bad idea
I play all over the Chicago land area and this is one of the best public courses
Pace
This course normally plays well.Although this past sunday they had sixteen elderly men playing a scramble of summer sort in front of us causing the entire course to be deadlocked and there was nothing done about it.
Don't let your eye deceive you.
One of those courses where your eyes will see one thing and your mind wants to do another. Trust the number. more brutal when playing in the wind. Had a hard day on the greens.
Good for a wet day
It rained all morning and stopped just as we teed off around 11:15 am. Other than bunkers, the course drained pretty well. It was our third time playing it, and we will be back. It’s an interesting and challenging layout but fair, unlike its next door neighbor Chalet Hills.
Rakes in the cart ?
This is one of the best layouts in Chicago area
I’ve played over 409 courses and one of my favorites
Staff is great. ( I’ve worked at private club for 15 years)
Great value for seniors
Only 2 issues
Rake in the cart. - as stated , played over 400 courses and this is only the second course that has ever had the take in the cart. Annoying
Second- greens roll ok but greens are always too too slow. I play here 5-10 times a year and they are always slow.
Great course
Everything was perfect except sand traps were absolutely terrible. Why have such a great course but then have terrible bunker conditions? Plus putting the rakes on the carts instead of at the bunkers is a terrible idea. First of all walkers have no way of raking traps. They are also always in the way when you’re grabbing a club or 2. What if someone doesn’t know they are in the bunker? Then they have to walk back up to the cart and back. What if 2-3 players have the misfortune of all being in bunkers on the same hole? What should they do? Play pass the rake? Just don’t rake it, like all of the walkers? Just stupid policy overall. Did I mention the bunkers were bad? lol. Geez
