Pot Hole Pathways
I like the course and level of difficulty; however, the golf cart paths were dangerous (too many dips & pot holes in the cart path) along with many narrow fairways.
19th hole
Golf course is one of the best public courses you'll find. The only setback here is the bar, you have a beautiful course, a majestic clubhouse and a tiny lil bar that looks silly. We didn't stay for a cocktail it wasn't very inviting. But I'll be back to golf, love the course
Mondays options
The course was a good challenge, but it would be nice to know there is no water, food or a beverage cart on Mondays. bring your own snacks. Our golf carts were malfuctioning all day not being able to even go on the fairways. had to drive backwards on some holes? The maintenence guys were terrible as they made us wait when we were in the tee box until they were done??
Challenging course in good shape.
Course was challenging and in good shape but the golf carts frequently shut down due to unmarked unauthorized areas and the golf cart path was very rough.
Please fix carts
Please replace carts or fully charge the batteries.
Chalet Hills
Solid course with above average conditions for a muni. Has a mix of challenging and open holes, but be sure to bring extra balls. Can play very differently based on your tee selection.
Slowest course I've ever played
It's a challenging course with lots of hills, narrow fairways, blind shots, and difficult water. Overall it's a pretty course with nice views.
However. It is the slowest course I've ever played. This is the third and last time I will play it. We were on the heels of the group in front of us the entire round, and they were stacked up on the group in front of them, and we finished in 5:15. There was a twosome behind us that hit into us more than once, probably out of frustration.
Plus, on course there is no water, few ball washers, and few opportunities to use the bathroom. The GPS on the carts has an aggressive geofence that made me back up while on the cart path more than once. Several holes have poor drainage and were very wet and muddy all over.
The staff were friendly enough, and prices for food and drink were pretty good. But waiting on almost every hole got old really fast.
Unbelievable
I paid $175 for a round here with a friend, and the experience was ruined by two players who harassed us the entire time — swearing at us and even putting their hands on me. We’re minors, and it made the round uncomfortable and unbearable.
When I brought this to management, I expected them to at least take the situation seriously. Instead, after days of waiting, the response I got was: ‘there are three sides to every story, yours, theirs, and the truth. No financial compensation… let it go.’
That’s how this course treats paying customers, even kids. No accountability, no concern for player safety, no respect for their community.
Golfers have plenty of choices in this area, and I strongly recommend choosing a course that values its players and creates a safe, welcoming environment. This is not one of them.”
Excellent Course
Challenging. Beautiful. Diverse. Three words to describe this gem of a course. You’re given 3 holes to work out your kinks, once hole 4 comes, be on your game or you’re in for a long day! I love this course and go at least once a year.
Slightly disappointed
Played there yesterday. It was 91 degrees with 75% humidity. Not one water container on the course. Not really asking too much. Also, noticed course could use more attention to detail. Slight lack of maintenance. Bathrooms terrible.
A Challenging Round
Chalet Hills is a great course for golfers that hit the ball straight. It is tight around the fairways and errant shots result in lost balls. Their cart system needs some adjustment. We received “Restricted Area” warnings while on the cart path and in tge center of the fairways. It was very annoying.
