Challenging, Distance Control a Must
The course can be narrow in places; the fairways are hilly, but manageable. For me, it seems it takes some strategy and good distance control to golf well here. I golfed at the end of July, they had just aerated the greens and apparently soaked them the night before, making them really hard to read and finding the right tempo really, really difficult. Overall it's a fun course.

As good as it gets on a public golf course. Interesting, pretty, plenty of tee choices to fit your game. A brute from the tips, but fun from the forward tees.

Great course condition
Great day fast round. Only negative if there had to be one was that some greens had multiple ball marks that were not fixed.
But this is one of my favorite courses to play. Challenging but forgiving if you hit it straight

Large Fairways Until the End
This was my 3rd or 4th time playing Foxford Hills. Every time it's enjoyable. The front nine features wide fairways that allow you to "grip it & rip it" off the tee. Traps and water hazards are the only real threats. Relative to it's next door neighbor (Chalet Hills), the greens are much trickier and provide a true test for all golfers. Placement is key. The back nine starts off similarly to the front, but then it narrows on holes #14-16. Moral of the story is get your pars in early, otherwise you're in trouble!

Great course
In addition to having a challenging and visually appealing course, they have great staff. Very responsive and you can tell management has their staff well trained to be ultra customer-centric.

Beautiful course.
Foxford Hills is a beautiful course and was in excellent condition. We would definitely play this course again. Had a great time until the final hole when the foursome behind us decided to hit into us. Not cool.

Way too slow
It’s too bad such a nice course isn’t worth playing due to pace of play. I’ve played here twice in the last three weeks and both rounds were 5 hrs on a Thu afternoon. They didn’t have a ranger either day, and there’s no reason you can’t play in 4 Hrs or less if you know what you’re doing. I’d settle for 4:15, but 5?! Unacceptable.

Very Slow Round
Was impressed with the course, not the pace of play which was OVER 5 hours. Waited on every shot, on every hole. Too bad, as this looks to be a nice course in good condition, but I won't play a weekend round at a course that takes over 5 hours. Didn't see a ranger all day. If a course is slow, the starter should be holding groups up or schedule the tee times 12 minutes apart to avoid this problem. You'll only lose a handful of rounds but you'll get a satisfied customer that'll be wiling to come back again. Maybe only play on a weekday?

Better Value elsewhere
Day before father's day, slow play expected but a 5 hour round was insane. Bunkers are basically dirt with large rocks in them. Almost unplayable! Greens rolled very well for the most part but people don't fix their ball marks there.
