3.5 Stars Recommend but gird for very slow play
I always enjoy getting out to Foxford. Wish it was closer so I could play it more often. Staff is always welcoming and desire you to have a good experience. Course was in great shape in all areas except the tee boxes need renovation. It's a pain to use the rake in your cart to take care of the sand traps if you get in one. Most folks don't bother and don't even attempt to use the rake in their cart. Great routing and very fun to play. I downgrade big time because slow play abounds on this course and there's never any attempt to keep idiots moving along. We only got in nine yesterday because the rain moved in sooner than expected but our nine took 2.5 hours to complete. I had a first timer with me. We loaded our clubs in the car after completing nine it wasn't quite raining yet so I took him out for a quick look at the finishing holes. Not one group was on 18, A group on 17th tee. No one on 16. A group on the 15th tee. Ridiculous. Tee sheet was full with no available tee times all morning yet there were open holes all over the back nine. Wrong. Allow the rangers to enforce pace of play please. Downgrade 1 1/2 stars because of pace. It's that bad. Thank you.

Snail's pace
Great course but the pace of play was terrible. The starter made a big deal about us keeping pace the group ahead of us. The round took about 5.5 hours and we waited on nearly every shot. Course was in great shape so not a bad overall.

Long Round
4:45 hours on the course is unacceptable! The pace was horrible and the rangers are useless and should Re retire.
The greens look great and hold but they are slow and not true.
I would not recommend this course at all!!
Pro course lots of hills
So this is the first time playing Foxford Hills. Let me say that this course is some pro level play. Lots of hills and bunkers that are deep! Beautiful layout and in pristine condition. Tee boxes were in pretty rough shape but overall a really awesome course to play. I will be back this coming week to see if I can improve my score. Shot a 106 excellent staff that’s very accommodating. Well worth the money to play a real pro rated course.

One of the best courses in Chicago area! Great layout and challenges. Only knock the greens a bit beat up but a must play

Overbooked
Overbooked their tee times just to make a few extra bucks. Added 5somes on mid morning tee times when thrboacenof play was not sufficient. Should’ve left more space behind them. Created a log jam.

Rudest golf staff ever!!!
This course has the absolute rudest golf staff in the history of the world. Everyone from the starter to the pro shop staff to the head pro were some of the rudest and most disrespectful people I have ever met. I saw a few reviews alluding to the above but wasn’t sure how accurate they were, I can now confirm they were extremely accurate. I’m still amazed at how rude, demeaning, and inconsiderate the staff here is. Save your money and go play one of the other 10 courses in the area where the staff doesn’t treat people with complete and total disrespect.
This is an interesting review, there were no pace of play issues on August 17th. There were no customer/staff negative interactions and to be honest the golf pro wasn’t even here on this day. Are you sure you got the right course?
