Great Course
Love every time we can come in to play. Great course.
The Dunes
The greens got punched sometime during the week, made for some tricky putts. Slightly disappointed.
Cart needs recalibrating
Course was good until the 8th hole. The cart #109 boundary alarm went off and refused to stop activating while the cart was parked on the cart path, which didn't help my struggling putting. In the break between 9 and 10 and elderly couple appeared in front of our group and slowed play down considerably. They weren't behind us in the front 9 holes. Still had a great time playing.
Sandridge
We had a threesome with three fast players and it took four hours because of the groups in front of us.
Great shape, best course played in a while
I drove south from the Melbourne area to try the Sandridge Dunes for the first time. I was extremely impressed with the excellent conditions of the course, pro shop and surroundings. Everything from the tee boxes, fairways and greens was great. Very friendly staff providing directions for first time players. I personally have not played a public or semi-public course in the Melbourne area that resembles the great conditions this course is. Is worth the drive.
Great courses
Love both these courses and grateful to have them in our community. Staff is great. Both Courses in general are always in good shape. That being said I think they could roll the greens more than they do. Seems like the only time they roll the green is before a competition. This should be done at least weekly.
Course was well taken care of.
Pace of play could’ve been a little better. Back 9 was better than the front I didn’t have to wait near as long on tee boxes.
Great county courses!
The Lakes and Dunes courses are two uniquely different and challenging experiences as their names imply. They are an outstanding value and have kept me coming back for many years!
The Dunes
Typical summer round, bring your wind game. This course will test you in the afternoon. Always a good time.
Pace of play extremely slow. T-times too close
Ridiculously slow. Ranger came out twice. It never sped up the pace. Don’t play this course on the weekend. Nobody is watching over the pace of play.
Course n staff are too notch
Course layout, pin placement. All staff are friendly n courteous. Best public course I’ve played
