Tough, beautiful and one of the Treasure Coast’s best
I’ve had the chance to play Hawk’s Nest a handful of times since moving to Vero Beach, and I gain more respect for it with each round. It knocked me around for two days in the 2025 Florida Mid-Amateur with a firm, fast but ultimately fair setup that made its small greens play even tinier. Its location on the coastal dune ridge gives several holes a pleasing amount of elevation change, especially on the back nine, which plays a little short on the card but makes up for it with several uphill approaches. An excellent club with a membership that loves and appreciates their course.
