About
Vista Plantation Golf Club is an Arthur Hills-designed course that is conveniently located near all of Vero Beach's attractions. The course is just a short drive from the scenic beaches, which are part of Florida's Treasure Coast. The course is compact but challenging with small, fast greens and tight fairways. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The golf course is challenging enough for avid players yet forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence. It's a player-friendly layout that is great for beginners and seniors. Though the golf course may not require distance, your short game skills will be put to the test. There is not only water but also numerous strategically placed bunkers. Vista Plantation is a golf course that will make you think and you'll also need to be accurate.

Small Course
The course is a 3000 yards course and was not able to tell on the site the yardage .

water on 17 out of 18 holes makes play challenging, narrow fairways and sand traps
Great short course
This is an awesome short course. The only complaint I have, which they're working on, is the greens. They could use some serious help. Other then that the course is great and for $11 on golfnow it can't be beat. I'll play here again and again.
Lots of water
Water on 17 of the 18 holes. Par 62 and an excellent place to work on short game.
Was somewhat confused by receiving two e-mail confirmations: One from Golfnow and one from Teetimes. Same confirmation number. Had to check my credit card to see if charged twice. I was not.
greens need work.
Overall enjoyed the course, but many of the greens were in poor condition. However back at the clubhouse I read that in May they will be doing major work on the greens.
Lots of water
A few greens were in rough shape but there were signs that they were switching to new, higher quality grass next month, so understandably.
Give it another chance.....
The greens are bad as other recent reviews state. However, I found out that they are 30 years old and just suffered an extremely wet year. I learned today that the course is undergoing a complete greens and tee renovation this Summer. They are installing Champion greens. That being said, I can't wait to see this course with "real Greens" I look forward to returning this Fall and may check it out this Summer as they have 9 holes open during construction.

The greens for the most part were in poor condition. I would not play this golf course again.
I paid for 18, and left after 9!
I would not drive the 37 miles to play this course again. It had good reviews for the most part, but until I was on the greens? They are the worst I have played on in over 5 years. Fairways are average, the sand bunkers are good. That's about it...didn't eat or drink there. Treated very well otherwise. I will stay and play further north along the space coast. The course conditions did nor warrant the price to play there!
Short Course but you have to play Target Golf
Enjoyed playing the course. For golfers that are just working on accuracy will have problems with hitting condos, roads and water. The condition of the greens was poor on several of the holes. I played with a beginning golfer and he lost many balls (and I am glad he did not hit any condos). I would go back but I thought that the price to value was not the best.

Not easy
You need to be very accurate or you'll be in water or sand! bring lots of balls! some green are not top notch but over all, very good ! even if it is an executive, it is not an easy golf! very happy to have played there!

Even though this is an executive course, it was challenging with water on every hole except one.

Great day for golf
Weather was great. Course in good shape in spite of heavy rainfall night before. Only one green in poor shape, Enjoyed the day and at a great price. Staff very friendly
