Sandridge Dunes
The course is in remarkable condition, they are constructing a new club house and the parking is a mess right now
One pleasurable round
The course layout and the beauty of the course is second to none. A challenging course but well worth the difficulty on some on the holes
Turn off the Water!
This is one of our favorite golf courses in the area but today the greens were so wet it was rediculous. It took all of the fun out of playing as the ground moved under your feet while putting. The rest of the course was fine but the greens were incredibly over watered.
It’s a diamond in the rough! Nice track nice layout
One thing is it’s a great course with a great layout! Our front nine was cart path only means that they care and are knowledgeable about how to take care of a course! That’s why I will play it again and again! When I get better I’ll take on the Lake course! Kudos to everyone involved from the city to the members to the course superintendent and his employees! Clubhouse was staffed properly and I enjoyed my time there! One thing I learned was some people are playing the wrong tee boxes! That’s on them and not the people who work there! Golf’s a game not supposed to be work so people play from the right tees you’re going to have more fun! It’s cheap enough you can book to play again!
Nice course
Greens are coming around nicely. Still a little bumpy. Fairways are in great shape. Be aware of construction going on. Building the new clubhouse. Should be great!
As usual!
A great course. Only complaint is the slight remnant pod plugged greens. Still a slight affect on putts kind of a guessing game.
Ninersfan
Almost everything was fine, however; big issue with the length of the ads on the cart yardage tracker screen. Don’t see any reason the ads need to be 2-3 minutes long. It really makes the round painful when it seems like every time a yardage is needed to play a shot, there is an ad showing. Some may argue get a rangefinder and shut up. For those of us who don’t have or want one, cut down the ads to 30 seconds, As often as they play, that should be enough!
The Dunes
Another great day, rain held off and we had a fun match. The GPS on the carts have a advertisement feature that is constantly on the screen or up to 180 seconds. Very annoying.
Rain Check
Course is good. Greens rolled well. Pace of play was slow because course was busy. We were rained out after 6 holes and the pro shop stayed there is nothing they can do since I went through “GolfNow”. The staff said Golfnow will not refund or issue rain check if the course is open for play. I think a “rain check” is for people not wanting to play in the heavy rain or can’t wait for the rain to stop
Dunes
Another fun round at Sandridge. The Dunes is in great shape and I played a little better than normal. Great time.
