About
Situated in the heart of Chestermere, Lakeside Golf Club is conveniently only 20 minutes east of downtown Calgary. The 18-hole layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy. The golf course is gentle enough for high handicappers but it will still give more advanced golfers a chance to use their skills. Water has a prominent presence throughout the golf course, it comes into play on nearly every hole on the front nine. The back nine may have less water, but you'll have to contend with more strategically placed bunkers, like on the par-3 13th. This tough hole features not only a large lake on the right but also an array of bunkers circling the green. In addition to the course, With all of the hazards you'll be facing, it may not be a bad idea to use Lakeside's driving range and putting green to warm up.

Great Golf
Golf course and Pro shop, Great help.
The bar is good, the food was not, very bland
One dish returned, and they still charged 50% saying they're unable to refund the terrible food
Decent course after the rainstorm had a huge negative impact on the grounds. Our of course control.
Mosquito city - must bring spray as a requirement.
Mosquito invasion
Mosquitoes were the worst I have seen in a long time. Course was waterlogged and rough has not been cut in a while. Got stuck behind club championship tournament so play was very slow
Review
The course was in terrible condition. It was cartpath only but the car path was completely covered in mud and water, majority of the round.
Currently flooded but will try again
Currently the course conditions were rough with flooding and muddy areas.
Tee time was 445pm and mentioned to the snack shack we’d be back at mid point for food for them to be sold out of everything before 7pm. Was hangry the back nine before having to leave early due to a thunderstorm and no rain check offered.
Nice track. But it was soggy
Its a nice track and facility. Unfortunately, the course was very soggy from rainstorms. Pace of play was poor due to cart path only.
Saturated
I’m sure the course is great but it was totally saturated. I’m handicapped and no carts were allowed on the course making my experience undesirable. Would of liked to of had a rain check so I could enjoy the round.
Great course.
Had a great round. Cart paths in places need to be repaired and maybe a net dividing the range and the 18th hole. Still an exceptional course. Will definitely be coming back
Great course
I golf here regularly and enjoy the course. This Sunday was busy and the round was slow. (5 hours to do 18). Not sure I will golf on a Sunday again! Otherwise a fabulous day of golf.
Fun track
Only issue is had was the course is under construction and we had to keep carts on the path. A 90 degree rule would have been nicer but some of the fairways were water logged so I understand the reasons.
Raining
Very pleased to get rain check for 9 holes due to inclement weather 😀
Chestermere Tuesday round
Front end staff was friendly and efficient. Cart staff was great to my guest. Marshall was on top of pace of play. Course and equipment was in great shape. Guest player was impressed by higher standards than other recent out of town courses.
