About
Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf & Curling Club is centrally located within 15 minutes of the Edmonton Area, St. Albert, Morinville, and Cardiff. It first opened as a nine-hole course in the 1950s. Since the second nine wasn't added until 1996, there is a distinct difference between the front and back nine that makes it feel like you're getting two golf courses in one. The front, the original nine, is a more traditional parkland layout while the back is a more open links nine. You'll face a different set of challenges on each. The smaller greens on the front are indicative of the time when it was built and the size will also test your shot placement skills. In contrast, Edmonton Garrison Memorial's back nine has large and undulating greens as well as more strategically placed mounding.

Lovely course and well organized and welcoming & great condition
I am almost reluctant to give this course a positive rating that it might result it in it becoming too popular, but I am compelled to call it as I see it and as it deserves.
The course itself is challenging enough for any player.
The prostaff shop and personel are welcoming, friendly and obliging.
I have played this course among others for several years now and I seen increased improvements and care to the course itself to make it a welcomed and challenging golf experience.
This year in particular much effort has been made to get the course ready for this year's season of golf. The grounds and greenkeepers have to be commended.
I reluctantly recommend this course only because I am concerned it will be so popular that it will be hard to get a T time.
In a previous review I recall observing that this course is evidently a military course and that much military memorabilia & memorandum dot the T boxes, a reminder to the service and sacrifice of our solders in arms to make our life experience here safe.
Taking that into account it really is a special golf experience to play on this course.

Everything was immaculate. I don't golf much, but this place has great service for a very good price. Will definitely go again!
Good round
The course is in very good shape. Tee boxes and greens in great shape. Fairways pretty good. It was a very windy day so a little challenging but had lots of fun. People are friendly. Pleasant day all around.
