Lacombe Golf and Country Club

About
Lacombe Golf & Country Club opened in 1925, but the site has roots in golf that date back even further to 1910 when golfers would use the former cow and sheep pasture to hit balls. It has undergone many changes over the years but the layout still retains its classic character. The golf course is situated along the PEII, midway between Calgary and Edmonton. The par-71 layout is routed through dense groves of mature, towering trees. They loom above the fairways and provide a backdrop for nearly every hole. When the trees are combined with the golf course's small, undulating greens, the layout becomes a true test of your accuracy. In addition to the golf course, Lacombe also offers a driving range and a practice putting green with a bunker.

Great greens, great GN deal!
The greens were very good with fast consistent speed. The Fairways have some winter kill. Tee boxes are level and in good condition.
Cart and range were included in Hot Deal, staff were very friendly in the pro shop and bar/gull.
Good Shape for Starting Season
The greens were in great shape, fairways had a few winter kill spots, overall the course was in good shape for this time of year.
Decent
Easy course for people learning to golf, wouldn’t go as far to say as it’s the biggest bang for your buck but for the lacombe area it is definitely one of the better courses

Great value for a challenging course.
Would gladly get a membership if it was closer.
Lacombe
A very pleasant experience. Golfed with my wife and another twosome. The course condition was excellent. Challenging but fair.
Staff in the proshop and the restaurant were really good. Very professional but friendly.
Absolutely will go back. Its a "must play" course.
