Fort Langley Golf Course

This is my first time playing here and our tee off time was 6:16am. I wore long pants and longs sleeves the whole round and good bug spray. It's very challenging when you get bit in the face and ears and neck on every golf shot. I have never experienced this before. Maybe it's common in the Lower Mainland? I think the only way I would play here again would be with a special mosquito mesh head piece. We all wore different kinds of bugs spray, none worked. The course is a tough one. Small greens, seemed to be fast even in the morning. Sand bunkers look more like mud bunkers than actual sand. I got a good price on Golf Now that is why I tried the course. I hit my driver pretty well, so that was nice. I just found it so hard amto concentrate being bit and mosquito's flying all around for every shot. First time I ever saw a guy seat away a mosquito and then quickly sink a birdie put. Pace of play was fast because we were the first group of the course and we all hit quickly to keep moving and avoid additional bites. I am glad I got a drive cart that is for sure. I don't know if the mosquitoes are not a bad at difft times of day but from 5:30am to 10:30am they are terrible.

I golfed there today at 6:30am on Sunday and it was horrible mosquito. Every hole has mosquitos and they are buzzing as you set up for a shot. I couldn’t concentrate and left the course early. Won’t golf there anytime soon

Was a very good day to play i enjoy it. Everything was perfect

nice fast greens, some wet spots but we had a lot of rain lately,,,

staff was very good and the deck is open again for food/drinks!!

The golf course fairways was all in good condition except one was muddy !

The greens was all fairly good .

Good course to put your skills to work. Enjoyed the round with 3 people I hadn’t met before. Little slow on the pace with the group in front but overall a great day. Will go back and hopefully do better now that I know the course.

The course was stiff due to the rain, but it was a good round.

Course was in great shape, some weird holes but very good value and fun to play. They are packing way too many people on the course especially with COVID 19. Team time was 10 min behind which already is an issue with too many people waiting around to play. Tee times should be spaced out more then would be able to finish a round in a decent time and not feel so crowded.

We played the first hole par 5 no issues, 3 groups were waiting on the 2nd tee, totally ridiculous, par 5 again. There were 5 groups on the hole 1 on green, 1 fairway and 3 on tee box. It finally spaced out about hole 5 but the front 9 took us over 3 hrs. Over 5 hours total for a round at twilight.

I would play it again for sure but hopefully they space out tee times better and get the pace of play faster.
