Good value

We were last group out for the day at 1:52, pace of play seemed average but we finished in 4hr 10min, greens were punched the week earlier and the price we payed reflected that, weather was great and John the starter was a very friendly fellow, I’ll be coming back!

MY BEST ROUND EVER

$42 thanks to golfnow.com. Course layout was challenging but still playable for high handicappers. Good mix of blind fairways, dog eg left and right. All bad drives were still recoverable which I liked. Putting greens small but u can easily putt from off the greens. Hole 18th pin placement when I played made it impossible to hit under 80 but I still enjoyed the round. Nice course Marshall and thought they would ask us to speed up but said nothing. Probably cause they know it was the group in front.

Challenging and rewarding

FLGC is a great course with distinct challenges but is easy to walk. With the exception of the hill in the northwest corner which involves Holes #1,2, 16, 17, & 18, the course is flat. Enough challenges to keep one coming back but forgiving enough to allow an errant drive to get back to one's own fairway (most of the time)

Can't Recommend

I can not recommend this course. I would not play again and I would choose other courses in the area over this one. Reasons for my review are as follows:

1) The greens are smallish and remind me of cheap par 3 courses.

2) The tee boxes and greens are quite close to each other on parts of the course. As you are trying to putt or tee off you can often hear a lot of noise from adjacent greens or tees.

3) The course itself is just meh.... not really anything interesting about it.

I think others in the general area are way better value.

Sunbaked goat ranch

Course is so dry it should be a fire hazard. I wouls think it would be a beautiful course if it got the proper amount of water but its like they just decided to not water at all most of the greens are bad as well. Staff was friendly but thats only thing that was positive.
