Dunes at Kamloops Golf Club

I quite enjoyed playing this course. The rough is still quite low this time of year so without much in the way of woods/trees for hazards, one just had to deal with water and sand. It was nice to deal with a course that was not intent on punishing a golfer.

Course could benefit from a few more signs for newbies. Good score cared with map helped out though

It was our second time playing the course. It had been aerated 10 days ago and was in good shape.the back nine is now the front and is a nice layout. The back nine felt short and at times it was difficult to discern which t-box belonged to which hole. Overall nice course with excellent food. Great value, we would play again.

Sunny day with hardly anyone on the course. Although we are in autumn the condition of the golf course was fantastic. It's a thoughtful course where you are rewarded for carefully executed shots. I would come again!

This is a great course to play and worth searching out.....provided the owner does not sacrifice more of the course to his Real Estate venture. He has already modified one green and one full hole to his chase for money. I am sure the course architect (Mr. Cook) would be horrified. In addition, the houses added are still in the line of fire...behind the modified green and to the right of the shortened hole. Why tinker with what was a jewel of a course. It remains a good play for the money and nestled in a nice location....but that could quickly change if the owner continues his nonsense. Put up a fence behind the adjusted green and put up another high fence so the shortened par 4 can be restored to its original design. Then I will come back. Additionally, please advise Garmin and other GPS providers of the course changes so that handheld devices can be properly used on these modified holes.

Wide open forgiving course...challenging but playable even for an intermediate like me!

Was teamed up with local club members and had a wonderful time golfing with them.

Went as a single..was paired up with an amazing couple from the Coast..Bright sunny day in the 80s, fairways were lush, greens true and very receptive..Definitely will return and highly recommend to anybody..!

Dunes always in nicely groomed condition. Great value compared to other comparable courses in area. If you like to walk, make sure its a cooler day as theres no shade anywhere!!

What a beautiful layout.The staff at the pro shop were the best and even offered some very good advise on playing the course,thank you gentleman.I would recommend this track to everyone,the layout was fair for any level of golfer.I found the bunkers very hard,not much sand in them.The fairways in some places were a little rough,but over all good.If you are in the area give this one a try and if you get the hot deal you well be back to play more.Enjoy and try to stay out of the dunes.

Matt did an awesome job in the pro shop. Very helpful and accommodating. Greens just sanded but it is that time of year. Course is still in great shape. Nice to to be able to sit and have dinner afterward. A great walking course but we started late so rode to beat sundown.

Great walking course, nice to not have too many houses to worry about, shame about the 5th hole being moved way up to avoid the new homes on Westsyde road though. Greens roll nicely and fairways do have flat landing areas (just have to hit them). I really like the practice facility, hitting of real grass and decent range balls make this a great location. Food was meh, but I knew that going in. Great price of $35 all the time but even better with GOLFNOW.

I had played this course some years ago and do not remember it being as great as it is now. The greens and fairways are in excellent condition. There have been some small changes to the layout which I think are an improvement. The wildlife was an extra bonus although the visiting bear did not make an appearance during our round.

This is a nice, links-style golf course. The fairways are hard and fast with rolling mounds. It was not necessarily the greenest course, but links courses are not. The greens rolled smooth and true.
I had a fun round and would certainly recommend this course to a friend stopping by in Kamloops.

Confusing direction to the course. Staff were friendly and professional. Fun to play.

Round took over 5 hours !!! People need to know about pace of play other than that it was a very nice round.

Back 9 seemed to be Lush and in great Shape, The front is Burnt and in bad Shape. Friday afternoon and there was 4-5 groups on the entire course, Not sure how this place stays open?
Beer cart Girl left at 4:00 (can't blame her) and can't explain why they don't fill Golf Now Hot Deals when there is Nobody out there,
