This course is well named
The course is all "dunes" staying on the fairway is vital it also has many sand traps & fairway bunkers but nice sand. Enjoy the course every time I play it.
The greens
Very very fast greens! Hit your ball with a very soft touch..,,
Challenging and Fun
Very friendly staff, took the time to talk us through the course with advice about how to play a couple of the holes. Lots of opportunity to practice uphill and downhill stance. Greens and fairways were in good condition, although recent days of heavy rainfall resulted in some standing water. Thoroughly enjoyed the course.

One of my favorite Kamloops courses
Always enjoy a day at the Dunes. Very affordable, especially when nailing the discounted tee times through GOLFNOW. Wish more Kamloops courses would be on it. Hopefully the Dunes gets the first hole temporary green back in order. Disapointed the food and beverage cart didn't make an appearance. Was happy with the course, weather and score...was a good day!
The dunes is on tough course.
The course in in great shape,greens are in excellent condition.If you do not find fairway good luck hitting out of the ruff or behind a rolling hill !!!

This course is a very challenging track because of the longest parwalkable course 5's in the area

Great Value
I booked on Golf Now, great price for 18 holes, it's a good walk around for 18 holes, especially carry you bag. From tee to green, there are few holes that can cause you problems, the greens were a little too firm, but otherwise they roll fairly true, I've seen them a little softer and faster, but apart from that, it was in good shape considering it was March 27th.
I'd be back for the deal we got, $14.99 for 18 holes, a great bargain.
We played off of the whites, the photo I've shared, it's a par 4 on the 5th hole, it plays about 270 yards or so, I drove the green that day and left myself a putt pin high inside of 3 feet, walked off with my eagle!
The Dunes
Awesome course layout - challenging but not too punishing. The course is always well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this course to any golfer.

Cold put Fun!
My Son and I had a great day playing the Dunes. It was chilly (8 Celsius) out. However, there were very few people playing that day. So we moved along very quickly. The course was in great shape for this time of the year. All the greens were in great shape except the 1st hole which is under repair.
Great early season condition
Glad to see that the greens wintered well, especially since we didn't have much of a winter!
Worth it!
No Tobiano but a good option for another track. Course has character and for the most part the folks playing the course take care of it.
Not issues will pace of play, I would play again.
A great day for a round
Course is a good length. Not overly challenging. Back 9 has more interesting terrain. No beverage cart service but perhaps because it was late in the season. First green was under construction but rest of course was in good shape.

Awesome
Very tough course. the rolling grass dunes leave tough sloped lies on most fairways. Very challenging , but enjoyable. The weather was fantastic ,with no wind. Can't wait to do it again

Good Golfing
Two couples golfed, front nine we found challenging, but the back nine, we thoroughly enjoyed. Staff in ALL departments were very friendly, courteous, and helpful, and made our day very special
Great for high handicappers
I enjoy playing the Dunes because the fairways are quite wide and you can't get into too much trouble.
