great time... course in good shape
great course, good staff.. the weather was in good for Oct. so we really enjoyed the day
Not overly impressed with the course.
A first time player on this course will find it lacking in information. Poor (non-existant) maps of the holes at the tee boxes led to several unpleasant surprises. Far too many OB sections throughout the property. (Did they run out of red paint?) All stakes were painted white - no reds, no yellows. It has been 10 years since I played here and will likely wait at least that long before considering a return.
Great setting, well-maintained course.
Mounding produces some challenging fairway lies, even after well struck drives. Can seem unfair at times, but there you go. Rough has been cut down in many spots, at times leaving one with the feeling of having been inadequately punished. Nevertheless, this is a pleasant course with a number of very interesting holes. An excellent walking course.
This course has bunkers, water, and long wheat grass, not many trees or bush.
Wide open but very challenging, with many hazards.
Great track
Have played here many times. Greens had been recently aerated and were a little shaggy compared to how they usually are. Still great though.
Ho Hum course - Slow Play
The course was nicely maintained but the layout was pretty much up and down with the major feature being undulating fairways and bunkered greens. There were a few holes with water. We were encouraged to take a power cart to facilitate speed of play but after we caught up to the group in front we could have crawled backwards and kept up. There was no course marshall around but they did send someone out after the owner's wife who was in the group behind called the proshop. But there was no appreciable speedup in play. We skipped holes 16 and 17 just to reduce our frustration level. We got a good rate through Golf Now so we weren't too concerned but if we had paid the full asking price we would have requested a refund.
The snack bar staff was friendly. After I asked for my "hot" dog to be nuked it was actually hot and very tasty.
This course is about 15 minutes north of downtown Kamloops and so a bit off the beaten track if you are driving the TransCanada and want a quick hit of golf on your way through town.
Well maintained course on and off the fairway.
Unlike many other courses in Kamloops which feature cliffs and unkempt grass and bushes outside the fairway we had no difficulty finding bad shots and probably couldn't lose a ball if we tried.
course great
Course conditions were great. Staff was not pleasant, changed tee time then spoke to us and tried to force us out early when we were still hitting balls. Took one player away from driving range in golf cart and spoke to him about not being on the tee box when called, but we still had 18 minutes to our tee off time.
very enjoyable course
This course have pretty flat landscape. Very enjoyable walk. However, hugh sand traps could play a major factor in your score.
This course has great holes
I would highly recommend this course to anyone...very easy to walk as well.
Hitting straight is important
I like the rolling hills & it's a forgiving course
excellent value for a municipal course in Kamloops.
Well maintained course. Greens in great shape. Great value booked thru golf now.
