The Dunes at Kamloops is truly nature’s golf course. Lush fairways carve through the sand that was once the riverbed of the North Thompson giving way to dunes that transform into vast waste areas and challenging bunkers. The Dunes is proud of being tournament ready every day, with each fairway leading to a meticulously groomed green. Fantastic course
First time here, had a great experience. Course layout is very nice, dunes make a huge difference and will punish out of fairway shots. Lots of bunkers with very creative designs. I found unusual that sand jugs are not handed out to players which leaves handling of divots up to each player. Sone of the larger sandtraps have no rakes available, again you do your best. Greens were in great shape. I would happily play again and recommend this course.

Good to practice but course map
First time playing at this course. Pretty busy for mid week afternoon. NO course information on the score card. Had no idea where I was hitting the ball on some holes. At least put a map of the hole on the score card at a minimum

Awesome course
This is a seemingly easy course, but it’s actually difficult even when you hit your ball hood into the fairway your not guaranteed a flat lie

Excellent value!
Great course and value! Only weird thing is it seems the 14th hole has been reconfigured with new tee boxes that require you to hit through trees and it’s kind of a blind shot. Seems like the older tees have been decommissioned likely due to the newer houses along the left side of the hole. Sad.

Fantastic afternoon on the links
We love this course.
It’s a great place to spend an afternoon on the links.
We were paired up with two other gentleman and had a great time meeting and making some new friends.
We all hit some good shots and we all hit a few bad shots

Great Track
Played on a hot deal for $30. Super fun track. Only issue is greens were recently punched but for the price and conditions I was fine with it. Don’t over look the Dunes when playing in Kamloops!
Improvements needed
The overall course is in need of attention.
There appears to be signs of financial difficulty with the Dunes.
Eg. no more cash accepted, score cards no longer on carts. Always new staff, a sign that employees are not happy working there.
Carts need improvements. No ball or club washers on cart.
Some greens rough shape.
Really no longer my go to course. The other courses are better in so many ways.

Course was in awesome shape New greens superintendent is doing a great job. Tees fairways and ruff and greens were great Owner should keep going in this direction. Well done

Leave players alone, from pro shop to starters to course marshals, let players be, no riot act, no rules preaching..
