The Dunes at Kamloops is truly nature’s golf course. Lush fairways carve through the sand that was once the riverbed of the North Thompson giving way to dunes that transform into vast waste areas and challenging bunkers. The Dunes is proud of being tournament ready every day, with each fairway leading to a meticulously groomed green. Enjoyable Kamloops Course
The Dunes is one of a number of enjoyable courses in Kamloops. It is walkable, relatively accommodating of errant shots, but not too easy due to significant length of rough (at least when I last played), and the lack of flat lies if the fairway is missed.
Big horn sheep
Grass in ruff long and difficult to get out of but fairways wide enough that ruff should not be a problem! Big horn sheeps on a hole!!! Good course. A bit slow on back nine.

The Dunes
The courses second cut of the fairways was way too high and extremely hard to find your ball as well as making your next shot hard because of the ball being so deep in the cut!

Great course
The course was in very good condition. Greens were well kept and fairways were excellent as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommend this course if you’re in the area.

A good course
We had a good experience overall. It would have been nice to see the refreshments cart on the course, especially when it’s 37 degrees.
