Tobiano Golf Course

Great links style course in semi desert setting with views of Kamloops Lake and surrounding mountainous terrain that would rival any golf course setting. This is a very challenging course in-spite of its generous fairways and large greens. Great practise facilities and the course is very well maintained. Great place to spend the day with friends or families.

Wonderful scenery a very friendly staff. Course in excellent shape and a nice challenge.

Three groups ahead of us, who were on tour from other country were very slow. They had two slots vacant between them and us and yet we caught up with them at 7th hole. There after it was less than fun to play the remaining holes.

Spoke with the Marshal half way into the game about the slow play and were told that he already has asked those members. Marshal should have revisited to see if the pace actually improved, but we never saw him again.

Tobiano is the best course I have ever played, extremely challenging on almost every hole, a real thinking man's golf course.

Loved the course, the fairways and greens in excellent condition. Lots of elevation, not suitable for walking. The Starter explained the course do's and dont's which helped tremendously. Would love to play again now that I know where to play my ball.

This may have been the most fun I have had on a golf course in a very long while! It is not for the feint of heart. There are huge elevation changes as the course winds up and down through the sagebrush with no two holes alike. Every green needs to be taken seriously as no putt is as simple as it may look. The suggestions provided by the cart GPS are invaluable but keep in mind that they may be for a different tee box than you are playing and adjust accordingly. The staff and local members were very friendly and helpful. I can hardly wait for a return visit.

Tobiano is ranked as one of the best courses in Canada and I agree. The scenery is spectacular and the course is beautiful and challenging. The fairways are tight and the ball rolls a long way, sometimes off the fairway due to the side slopes. And the greens are fast and have a lot of break, often difficult to see. There are several significant forced carries across gullies, especially on the par 3's. The par 5 8th hole is particularly challenging on all three shots to the green. This is one of the best courses we have played in the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia.

The fairways are like they greens. Coarse is in excellent shape and very well maintained. Of course the scenery is spectacular. Staff in pro shop was very nice and helpful. Thank you! Then we had supper in the dining area and it was excellent. We both enjoyed our meals, all gourmet cooking. It was a very lovely day spent at Tobiano Golf . Thanks to all the staff cause we will be back.

Great course conditions! Faraways are a good place to be, rough is very rough and a challenge to get out of. Greens are tricky and fun. Fantastic practice facilities to warm up after a drive. Friendly service and yummy food at the Restaurant.

Tobiano BC is an excellent links course in BC very demanding tee shots on some holes over what felt like a Canyon Very challenging coarse , spectacular fairways Immaculate green immaculate greens very fast large greens.Bring your A game

This might be the best course in Canada I have played and I have played in every province except Newfoundland. Immaculately groomed with spectacular views from every hole.

This is the sign you see when to arrive,and this is by far a great test of your golf skill,we played from the black tees,and had some of the most amazing views of the area.This is a very well manicured course,just love it,links golf is wonderful and even though we were not playing along the sea,lake Kamloops is a great replacement.This is a must play if you truly love golf,bring lots of balls and have a lot of fun.

11 dudes.

We planned for 36 holes from the beginning. It was a BIG day! First tee 930am. We played best ball from the blues/Spurs. Smart. This course will eat you up! We got to as a team scope some lines, hit some putts, and overall get a feeling. Smart.

Second round, Stroke play from the whites/Lake. Great on a few levels, white tees are very different than the first time around. Also! This course will eat you alive, playing from the whites is still tough enough. my handicap is 10ish

Tobiano is my favorite course I have played to date. From the views to the immaculate conditions there is little to dislike about this course. It was one of the best conditions I have ever played, the fairways felt like greens at most courses. Expect a challenge though as there are a few gaps to hit over, some small fairways and a lot of going up hill and downhill. None of those detract from the experience as the scenery takes you away with wonderful views from every hole. The par 3's are imaginative and very fun to play. This is a must play for any avid golfer.

Very few courses can generate excitement in golfers just by driving onto the property. Since it's opening in 2007, Tobiano has deservedly received every accolade heaped upon it. Set along the banks of Lake Kamloops, Tobiano provides golfers of every ability spectacular views, exceptional routing, generous fairways, fantastic bunkering, roller coaster greens, great clubhouse & practice facilities. I've been lucky enough to have played Tobiano no fewer than two dozen times since 2008 and it never fails to challenge me on every level. If it wasn't a 9 hour drive from home, I'd play this course every day & twice on Sundays. Thomas McBroom has created a golfing masterpiece and it's called Tobiano.
