Tobiano Golf Course

Very few courses can generate excitement in golfers just by driving onto the property. Since it's opening in 2007, Tobiano has deservedly received every accolade heaped upon it. Set along the banks of Lake Kamloops, Tobiano provides golfers of every ability spectacular views, exceptional routing, generous fairways, fantastic bunkering, roller coaster greens, great clubhouse & practice facilities. I've been lucky enough to have played Tobiano no fewer than two dozen times since 2008 and it never fails to challenge me on every level. If it wasn't a 9 hour drive from home, I'd love to play this course every day & twice on Sundays. Thomas McBroom has created a golfing masterpiece and it's called Tobiano.

I have been golfing for more than 200 different golf courses in North America (mostly in British Columbia, Canada and Palm Spring, CA ), Tobiano is the one on top of my list. Every hole is a signature hole. You will not get bore with this beautiful course. We were there in the Thanksgiving long weekend, the course is well kept and in excellent condition as always.

Tough. challenging links style golf course. No trees but gorgeous lake views; many elevation changes.. Loved it.

Design is extremely good and course maintenance was superb.
A great challenge, but no tricks. If you hit good shots you get good results.

Everytime we drove by Tobiano we would admire the course and say one day we should play it. It was worth the wait. Course is challenging if you are a higher handicap or don't hit the ball somewhat straight. Fairways and greens are like carpet and well maintained. Every staff member we talked to were very friendly and made you feel welcome. We ate lunch and dinner in the clubhouse, both meals were very good and well priced.

beautiful course. wonderful views every hole. but if the wind blows (it was today in the pm) holes #5 thru 11 are super tough. lots of uphill or downhill lies regardless. a great shot makers course for a single handicapper, but a long day for the 20+ type. excellent facilities with unlimited range balls. carts only i think. don't think it's walkable, even for ironman types. greens and fairways all break to the river, regardless of what it looks like. easy to find from the highway. got a great deal with golfnow hot tee time.
pet peeve: players who eat and spit out sunflower seed shells or pistaciao shells on the fairway or greens got no manners! maybe courses should ban that ... but who needs to be told?

UNIQUE!!! We played practically all over the world: All the best courses in the East coast, West coast, Canada, Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Samoa, Guam and Hawaii for the last 21 years. We have never seen anything like this course. We will go back there next summer and stay in Kamloops and just play golf for a week. Thanks Golf.now for including this course. This course needs to be rated in top ten best in North America.

Tobiano is a must do if you are passing through Kamloops!

Beautiful setting Excellent conditions and staff. This is a very challenging course for higher handicappers. Many bunkers and the areas outside the fairways are rough and tough. Be sure to follow the staff recommendations for tee choice. A challenge for all golfers but would be a real joy for low handicappers. Will return if the price is right. Dining facilities are very good.

Not a course for a novice golfer! It is in excellent condition and a very challenging course. Worth the drive and had an great day. Lost a dozen balls between 2 of us!

will not find better greens anywhere in the area

My driver was on fire, would have been eaten up and chewed up without it. Amazing course, I'll be thinking about it until the next time I play it. Challenging, unforgiving and picturesque. Greens were inconsistant but it's early in the year. If I lived anywhere close to it I'd have a membership without a question.
