Pace of play ruined the experience
Pace of play was the worst I have seen on any course nearly 3 hours to get around the front 9 not a Marshall to be seen. Course is very odd routing feels like a few non golfers ran around some farmland built 18 greens and came up with fairways as an afterthought. For the money conditions were fine the group I was set up with were fun to play with and the weather was great, unfortunately that’s where the positives of my round end.
Slow day
It took 5 1/2 hours to complete our round. No Marshall on the course all day. Greens were very bumpy. White tees were too short on par 3's (up near reds). Good value and we will play here again. Will hope for a faster pace of play and better tee placement.
Has potential
The course is ok for the price you pay. Where it really lacks is the pace of play. They are doing tee times every 4 minutes and there’s no marshals to enforce rules. Also it’s starting to become a place for annoying drunks. They’ve made a decent amount money due to COVID and it would be nice to put it towards the course.
Turning into a better course
This course was starting to get run down and in questionable shape. But with the recent change of management there are new ideas, improvements etc. Nice to see new bridges put in place, a new bridge from 3rd tee box towards the green preventing heading back into traffic from 2nd tee box.
New machines for cutting, rolling, clean up helps to maintain the course in an eye pleasing experience.
The greens have been rough in some areas which need a bit of work on. The tee boxes need further care and maintenance as there is a lot of play going on.
Would be nice to see ball washers back and racks for sand as covid doesn’t get past on by handling these items.
It is always a pleasant course to play as u need to play the course not get up and hit the ball without some thought. Not overly long but challenging.
Still rough in some areas but are working on to improve the course.
Fun course
The green was little bumpy after punching the green two weeks ago. Other than that it was a very Challenge and fun course. Happy to play with some friends . And I had a Hole in One today at number 5 hole . Thanks
Basics of gold is etiquette
No Golf etiquette players jumping ahead to next hole as did not want to wait for others to complete hole causing increased delay for others. Never saw a Marshall to help control the out of control middle age men thinking their tiger woods
