Nice course!
Played the north course a few weeks ago, I found the south course better in my opinion cheaper too!
Love it, but need time to relax
First I want to say the staff especially the Ranger, Kalen, I think his name is was excellent. He is so easy to talk to, polite, and courteous. Long hair guy. Awesome character.
But there should be water on the course to drink. Why have courses stopped this common sense courtesy. It was really hot yesterday, and I had to flag him down and he was good to bring some, but this was after maybe the 14th hole without water besides buying some which I also did.
We had a 12:54 tee off and the twilight regular 1 pm golfers were anxiously waiting to start right on our tails. Due to being a few minutes late, we rushed ahead and skipped the 1st, but then were followed by fast paced golfers. This was unexpected since it was so hot to have such busy golf in the middle of the day.
We had a complaint by those golfers, and my sister quit the last 2 holes since she is a bit slower. Bit we were quite quick on pace for a 4 hour game. Anyways, I suggest pacing the golfers 10 minutes apart versus 8 minutes.
Otherwise, it is an awesome course. Lots of water and some trees to hit into right side, and water hazards around 250 yards..using a 3 iron best on many of south course drives to avoid water.
Really nice overall for the money, but I just love to go out and relax and not rush. Luckily the 4 some behind didn't get too close, but just a bit difficult when they complain. Us who come and play not regularly help those members pay foe a wonderful course.
Nice course
South course was nice. 3 bathrooms available. A snack shack after 9 would have been good but otherwise, no complaints.
Lack of marshall
Pace of play was slower than slow… group ahead were at least 2 holes behind end of tournament!
A painful 5 1/2 hours for a 4 hour course…
Course/conditions beautiful! Power carts overpriced!!
I know the price/rounds is going up every year but of the 8 courses I’ve played this year, this is the only one to charge FIFTY DOLLARS for a power cart! And these are the same carts they’ve had for years…and no GPS to boot.
As a senior and having a bad knee I have to ride but because of the cart price I won’t be back.
Golden Eagle South
A bear on the course slowed things down for a bit and then it zoomed along.
Wet conditions
Course was in rough shape. Bunkers full of water and standing water on some of the fairways. Greens were in decent shape
Wish I had my camera
Played a round with my family and the course was beautiful. Saw lots of widlife including a little black bear in the woods. The course was nicely maintained and we had a wonderful day.
Fantastic Hot Deal value!
The fairways were in rough shape and saturated. But the greens were in good condition. Good pace of play. The restaurant is a hidden gem!
