Alberni Golf Club

Alberni Golf Club is very underrated course. Greens are near perfect, good amount of water, OB, sand and fairway undulation. The maintenance crew has done a lot of great work over the years as well, making a lot of the "lost ball" areas a little friendlier. Great experience, friendly staff, will be back!!

Course was in great shape.....both fairways and greens were fantastic! Got a great deal via TeeOff.com too! My group of 4 ate at restaurant and food was yummy! I didn't get into any bunkers so cannot say how the sand was etc! Very enjoyable round of golf for 4 guys!

This course is in great shape, challenging and a great location. Worth the 40 minute drive from the east coast of Vancouver island.

Greens wete punched about 2 weeks ago as confirmed by pro shop....wete still very lumpy and bumpy! On hole #6, my friend was putting from the front edge of the green to the upper tier so had to hit the putt pretty hard....it was rolling great but midway popped straight up in the air.....it ended up being 2 feet short but right in the heart of the cup! We enjoyed a beer afterwards but did not eat so cannot comment on food!

Got hot deal thru golf now. Got there planning to walk buy Got a cart.played 18 but only played the front nine twice but wasn't till I got there besides that it was a good day.

I called 2 days ahead and the pro shop confirmed that all fairways and tee boxes were playable. So I booked on golfnow and prepaid for 18 holes. When we arrived , we were told that the front 9 was closed so we would have to play the back nine twice and the rate was only for nine. But I had already paid online for 18 with golfnow. The course is well maintained but has very tight fairways. You have to pay close attention to balls from other fairways falling near you. The staff is great and held on to a wallet that was left in a cart.

Played twice this week and it was great. Can't wait until summer.
