About
Arrowsmith Golf & Country Club is an executive layout that was designed for year-round play. The layout features smooth greens that are large and undulating, with an average of at least three tiers and rolling fairways that are lined with trees. Between the towering trees, golfers can catch scenic glimpses of Mount Arrowsmith and Echo Valley. A majority of the holes are par 3s but there are two par 5s and three par 4s mixed in. The signature hole is the par-3 12th, which starts off from an elevated tee that is perched 40 feet above the green. Although the golf course provides a good challenge, it can still be finished within three hours. In addition to offering a beautifully manicured course, Arrowsmith also boasts a grass driving range, a practice bunkers, and two putting greens.

Fun course to play!
Great course to challenge your short game with a a couple of par 5's and a few par 4's. Enjoyed playing there very much.
Walkeable course
Lovely setting and very walkeable particularly for older people. For us this is a big plus. Reasonable fees but would like to see a senior discount. Will be back.
About the course.
Generally speaking the course is in okay condition. What it really, needs is improvement to the tee boxes. Quite a few have very little grass. Not that hard to fix them. A little grass seed and water.

Fantastic Shape
We had an awesome time and the course was in amazing shape.
Consistent Greatness
Out of all the courses my foursome plays, this is by far my favourite. It's not the longest, nor most difficult, but every time I play here, I leave satisfied and happy. All four of us agree, they have the friendliest staff on the island (also, to the gentleman in the pro-shop, I still owe you a case of MGD). If it were less than a 50 minute drive from where we live, I'd be a member without question. I've played here at least a dozen times and have to fight off the urge to give them a 5 star review each visit, not that I don't think they deserve it but I don't want it to look like I'm buffing their rating. As long as they continue to provide the same quality of golf and service, we will continue to make the drive to give them our business.
A Wonderful Day at Arrowsmith GC
This is a fabulous Executive 18 hole course. It is a hidden gem in the mid Vancouver Island area.
Great staff and course maintenance
Course was in very good shape, pace of play was good, no extra players added to tee time and staff excellent as usual.
Great Course
Arrowsmith is moderately challenging, play can be slow but so what the scenery is beautiful. Staff and players are friendly and helpful. Love the food at Micky J's. Play golf, sit on the deck have a drink and a bit to eat look at a beautiful Mt. . You can't ask for more than that.
Arrowsmith GC - A Very Popular Spot
Always enjoyable. I like this course.
BUT:
The fairways are drying up. They need more water.
The pace of play was slower than usual. It shouldn’t take 3 1/2 hours to play 18 holes.
Beautiful Views.
This Executive Goof Course has a great layout , still challenging , can be walked easily.
You can even relax on club house patio with your cold drink after game, overlooking course with beautiful mountain views.
Push Carts
Absolutely due for upgrading with new equipment. Very disappointed with carts provided, but fun time and food afterward was excellent.
