Guildford Golf & Country Club has long been known as one of the finest courses British Columbia has to offer. The golf course is located in Surrey, just across the U.S. border from Washington and less than 40 minutes from Vancouver. The scenic layout has fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are large and undulating. There are also creeks that weave across the golf course and numerous lakes that come into play. The layout has a classic design that still provides a challenge for all skill levels. Golfers are put to the test right away on the first two holes, a par 4 and a par 3 respectively, which require good course management and thoughtful decision making. Guilford's standout hole though, is the signature 16th. This tough par 3 is modeled after the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, complete with a stone bridge and water hazard that encircles almost the entire green.

Ok course

I think the tee time is should be longer, help with the pace of games. Waiting on every tee box is painful.

Has Potential

Greens were, unfortunately, horrible. They are already tough and could've been fun, yet they aren't taken care of by players and course alike.

Slow

Course is booking way too close together. 5 hours to get around. We had other time even longer. Greens are in poor condition partly to players disregard to repairing ball marks. Put some more toilets in! If you think folks are waiting to get back to the clubhouse to relieve themselves you’d be wrong. You can smell urine at many of the tee boxes!

They need to step in and manage pace really badly. Wouldnt mind the course so much if it didn't take 5 hours to play everytime. This isn't my first time experiencing this.

Good course with well maintained greens and fairways. The ponds could use some aeration to reduce the scum and marine growth.

The course was really fun and challenging.

I would definitely take a power cart net time .

I thought it was good value .

There were a lot of heavy hitters so a lot of fores going on …. Like every hole .

That was a little scary . However I had a great round and would play again soon.

Fun

It's got a little bit of everything. Elevated tee shots, elevated greens, plateaud greens. Pace of play can be very slow, the greens and course conditions have improved over the last couple years that I've been playing it. Has a green that is maybe 300 square feet, and another that is over 1000. Strike the ball well you will have fun, don't and you should have a few extra balls in your bag

Beautiful day

The day was perfect. Greens a little dry and some inconsiderates not fixing the ball marks. Other than that the course played well. Attentive course officials and drink cart. It was a warm one.
