About
Guildford Golf & Country Club has long been known as one of the finest courses British Columbia has to offer. The golf course is located in Surrey, just across the U.S. border from Washington and less than 40 minutes from Vancouver. The scenic layout has fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are large and undulating. There are also creeks that weave across the golf course and numerous lakes that come into play. The layout has a classic design that still provides a challenge for all skill levels. Golfers are put to the test right away on the first two holes, a par 4 and a par 3 respectively, which require good course management and thoughtful decision making. Guilford's standout hole though, is the signature 16th. This tough par 3 is modeled after the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, complete with a stone bridge and water hazard that encircles almost the entire green.

Golf Now didn't advise us that TEMP greens were in use due to aeration
there were multiple temp greens out of sight to those arriving at the course and Golf Now did not advise us in advance
Also grass in rough was too long such that a minimal amount of rain would keep the ball from bouncing and in some cases difficult to locate. It hasn't been raining much in this area and rain on the day we played was very light and only mist after first 3 holes.
Aeration time
Due to aeration , almost half holes temporary green,
Very very boring and not exciting....
Didn’t like the Marshall. Ragging on us for being a half a hole behind. No pressure from behind. Rather petty
Staff is friendly BUT marshals/staff do very little to improve pace, a simple.sign.or a reminder when people pay to respect others time.would do the trick. 90 % of players would.love a faster round
Not in true summer shape but workable.
Still wet on many fairways. Less than good condition. Greens were sound.
Price / value is great and the Burger / Beer combo is an appetizing 19th hole.
Will play again.
