About
Guildford Golf & Country Club has long been known as one of the finest courses British Columbia has to offer. The golf course is located in Surrey, just across the U.S. border from Washington and less than 40 minutes from Vancouver. The scenic layout has fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are large and undulating. There are also creeks that weave across the golf course and numerous lakes that come into play. The layout has a classic design that still provides a challenge for all skill levels. Golfers are put to the test right away on the first two holes, a par 4 and a par 3 respectively, which require good course management and thoughtful decision making. Guilford's standout hole though, is the signature 16th. This tough par 3 is modeled after the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, complete with a stone bridge and water hazard that encircles almost the entire green.

The course was frozen and should not have been open. Don't play here until we have several days of fairly warm weather.
any golf is good golf
Given the weather we have been having the course was playable but soggy. They have gone to their winter configuration which includes some shortened holes, a few temps and a number of rubber mats on the tee boxes. Frankly, i was just happy to be on a golf course at all and enjoyed my day slogging around in my mud boots.
Disappointed
The course was very wet and the worst was temp greens and temp boxes. Should have been told about these conditions before teeing off. There was No parking and not even a place to buy a coffee. Restaurant was closed. For me it was a waste of money
not busy
I guess because of the threatening weather we had the course to ourselves for 17 holes. Conditions were good except for the sand traps which can be very thin. Overall, we had fun and it was a very good day on the links.
nice day of golf
This course can be quite slow because it's too hard for hackers and it seems there are always plenty of them here. Not this time. We got around in 3:50 and course conditions were about as good as they get at this track. Fun round.

Course is in good condition, the price was good. No driving range but net is available for practice. I would definitely come back to play this course again.
Average Course - Seldom any Marshals to Keep Pace of Play
I have played this course several times. It's an average course but is good value for money in my opinion. A creek runs through the course that plays on several holes. Generally course is in OK condition. Staff and or lack of marshal's on the course creates inconsistent place of play. Hardly ever see a marshal (maybe 1 time) to ensure slow play is sped up.
Greens are running great!
The greens and fairways have improved since my last visit. Course is dry and no more plugged balls. All the greens are running smooth except for hole 6 (needs some attention) The service provided by the manager & his assistant was spot on. They went above and beyond for my wife and our friends. It's very refreshing to see this at a golf course and the fact that they actually care. We will be back very soon!

Great valua for your money. I enjoyed playing here. Will recommend to everyone.
Meh
Worth the cheap price on golf now if you want to get an extra round in during the week. Some greens were in great shape but 4-5 were borderline unplayable due to disease and dead spots. Few nice holes but having a par 5 changed to a par 3 due to construction isn't ideal. I'd play here again but I would not pay anymore than 20. Too many nicer places within 15 minutes of this course.

I asked at the pro shop if there was anything to know prior to getting out. Young man said no, course is good.

1 hour wait to start (after tee time wasn't honored)
not honest, not going back for 50 dollars.
Very poor condition. Ground keepers didn't stop when shooting just keep running there equipment.

I lost few balls on fairway in a sunny day.
