About
Guildford Golf & Country Club has long been known as one of the finest courses British Columbia has to offer. The golf course is located in Surrey, just across the U.S. border from Washington and less than 40 minutes from Vancouver. The scenic layout has fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are large and undulating. There are also creeks that weave across the golf course and numerous lakes that come into play. The layout has a classic design that still provides a challenge for all skill levels. Golfers are put to the test right away on the first two holes, a par 4 and a par 3 respectively, which require good course management and thoughtful decision making. Guilford's standout hole though, is the signature 16th. This tough par 3 is modeled after the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, complete with a stone bridge and water hazard that encircles almost the entire green.

Tee Time Cancellation
The Pro Shop wasn't aware that I had cancelled my 10am tee time when I switched it.
It was relatively short notice on my part but I don't want them to think I just bailed.
Anyways, the staff is always great so it wasn't an issue. I had a great round!
Pace of Play - Always slow
Played this course a few times over the past 15 years. Each time I’ve been there has been slow pace of play. After hole 6 we were standing at the tee box watching the group in front tee off. We had spectators for every tee shot as well.
Good value
A decent course. Attractive green fees. In good condition.
Good but could be way better!
Overall I love Guilly. But please turn the sprinklers down. The greens were great, but you left footprints due to how wet they were. Lastly 5 hours is ridiculous. But, that’s golf in Vancouver. Can’t complain too much.
Slow play
5 hours 10 minutes for a round is way too long. Noon tee time on a Friday, it still too slow v
