Love the course but Mother Nature made it tougher than usual!
Enjoyable
The course is in great shape.
Greens are in great shape and challenging.
Once the 17th hole is fixed by next year.
The course will become solid B rating.
overpriced for conditions
Played Selkirk many a times.
Although the course is in general good shape, a lot of work needs to be done.
Greens had aeration marks(sand was not dragged into holes). Approaches to a lot of greens were very sparse in grass.
If you have 1 hole closed down, and the above going on, how can you ask your playing public to pay such a high price. The fees should be discounted.

Nice condition ,Mature trees and large challenging greens , 17th under construction but going to be a great hole possibly one of the nicest in the of the course when done .
Great Course!
Fun and challenging course. Conditions very good despite the lack of much needed rain. Greens pretty quick, some nice undulations. 18th hole very picturesque. A great time!
Worth the trip
Just played Selkirk Golf course today! Have not played this course in over 25 years! It was a pleasure - started a bit early - pace of play was superb - and course conditions were very good. The only con was the 17th fairway was under construction - so had to play it as a short par 3. Will go back again very soon!
Nothing to write home about
The course fairways were in good shape, but this day the greens were aerated and one hole (17?) was out of play . No $ discount. Not an inexpensive course. No water hazards really. Everything average. Nice clubhouse/restaurant.
RAIN OUT
Played 7 holes when the rain started pouring and we had to quit. Pro shop would not provide a rain check because we had used Golf Now Hot Deal and paid in advance. Will not be using this course or Hot Deal again.
Tee shot is the Key on this course. Miss the fairway and it'll make you pay.
Always enjoy Selkirk. Played on a holiday Monday and the pace was excellent backed up for the first 3 holes but then opened up and was perfect all day. Fairways were a little rough in places but overall OK. Greens were soft allowing you to go for the pins instead of the usual prairie golf where you have to land in front and roll up to the pin.
Selkirk GC is a great choice and worth the drive to play
Always enjoy playing here. Good value, challenging and in great shape.
