Great challenging course
This course is typically in great shape, it’s got some long par 5’s that are long and challenging, par 3’s that are tough, overall a course that makes you make good shots and then are rewarded for them. The amenities on and off the course are great as well. Definitely worth playing here, even more than once if you like playing different courses. One of Manitoba’s gems and close to the city of Winnipeg.
Slow Play
Had to leave after the 15th hole (4.5 hours). No course marshal to speed up the pace of play. The group that teed off an hour before us wouldn’t let anyone through, and the pro shop wouldn’t send anyone out when we called about it.
Snail Pace
I've had some slow rounds in my life but this was insane.
The course allowed a 6some infront of my group and we waited 10-15min at every single hole.
We gave up midway as at that point it wasn't enjoyable.
Unacceptable that we saw staff driving around yet they permitted this.
Course is nice though.
Selkirk golf course
I have been playing Selkirk for 10 years. I don’t know if it has ever been in this good of shape. Extremely satisfied. I will be back for sure several times this year
Surprised
I found the course year in ? able. It looked like they must have had a major wind storm cause there seemed in rough shape. I have never seen the course like this before. I will play the course again, for sure before I post anymore reviews.
Nice Layout
Great older Hardwood wood trees make this an amazing track .
Great fall golf
Course is in good shape. Friendly staff and a 4 hour round.
