Acton Golf Club

This is a short course, nothing spectacular but the people are friendly, the greens can be challenging and they keep it in pretty good shape. Good place for a quick cheap round.

We always chose Acton 1st when we can. Staff is awesome and course is always a challenge.

Heavy rain three days before play left course in damp condition - cart paths were a disaster because of rain.

Considering the time of year, playing in warm temperatures was a bonus. The course has several very tight holes requiring an accurate tee shot, particularly on the back nine. Sand traps had not been dressed and several were unplayable due to the rain. However, this course was good value and enjoyable to play.

greens in great shape and course has finally dried out .. several easy holes , but also many tough ones in spite of the short yardage , a decent challenge for the average golfer .

This is my first year playing golf and I've always enjoyed playing here. I do recommend this course for people that are learning the game of golf as it is a forgiving course. The staff are friendly. I've played here quite a few times this year and will continue to play here. If there is anything I would say is that I wish they would maintain the grass at the tee off box.

Also, I would wait several days after a rainfall as I've found that the grass is still wet even after a few days. Definitely a fun place though!

Though it did rain the day before the course mtc. was terrible. The cups were still fill of water. The traps were unplayable.

The staff was uninterested and very lazy. Plus no cart person all day.

Even though the course fee is very reasonable, does not mean the service and mtc. should be so poor. Disappointing.

Well, after the first hole driving to the next hole and boom bags go flying off the cart. I ended up breaking my expensive driver in half, the clips for the straps that hold the bag were terribly loose. So ended up Jimmy rigging something up so it wouldn't fall off again, lets say the round didn't start off great. Other then that tee boxes were super hard along with most of the fairways.

Greens are small and pin placements can be tough on certain days. A great course for all skill levels with reachable par 4s on many holes. 275 yards is the average par 4 here. Staff is awesome and the pace of play is good most days.

I play it so often I'm now know as Mr HotDeal in the proshop. :)

Pace of play is always an issue at Acton, but it was a gorgeous day and the course was in great shape, so that made up for it. Best greens we've played in this year.

Don't let the short yardage fool you. This is a tough track to score in the 70s. I love it. It's my home course.

A good mix of tough and easy holes . Take lots of balls as bushes and water will swallow them up , although if time permits , ball searching will be rewarded .

Don't let's the short yardage fool you. This is a trick track. Snail postage stamp greens are reachable for the long hitters. The greens are medium speed and in good condition.

We hadn't played here in 20 years, and thought we'd give it another shot.

This isn't too tough a course, but it's in rough shape. Tee areas are chewed up in the shade where grass won't grow again.. Greens, though small, were in immaculate shape, and fastest we've played on this year. When we reached the 12th hole there was 6 carts on the hole scattered along its length, with another 4 on the tee. We had waited on every hole a minimum of 5 minutes. We had enough. Never again.

Good course. Good value. Good service. Will definitely play this course again and recommend it to my friends.

It was a perfect day for golf!. Some holes are narrow then open up. Greens were very fast! Will go back for sure!

Extreme slow pace..Pro shop disorganized..no Marshall around ..2 twosome playing between 2 foursome.. part of course flooded...took over 2 and half hour for first 9 which is extremely slow for this course
