About
There are two courses at the Knollwood Golf Club, the New and the Old. The New Course, which is adjacent to the Old, was built almost 20 years after the original. It is the trickier layout of the two. Although the scenic landscape was already dotted with trees, thousands more were planted to create a more challenging golf course and to enhance the beautiful terrain. The layout features plenty of elevation changes throughout and there are elevated tees where golfers can take in pleasant views. The architect of the New Course, Jack Harris, employed his memories of the most interesting holes he had played around the world to recreate some of them on this course.

Won’t be back
I enjoy this course, but I’ve decided this was my last round. Knollwood New continues to be one of the only course that sends our people in twosomes and solos regardless of their tee time. Was very slow last time as many small groups were log jamming the course. This time, the starter let out two twosomes and a single ahead of us. I complained, and he says naw it’s running smoothly out there! With no marshall, this proved to be a major falsehood. Lots of unnecessary waiting. Lazy, careless starters need to be replaced!
Fog
Tee-time was 7:40 am....dense fog, but they still sent us out. Could not see greens on most second shots. Did not clear till 10th hole. Most tee boxes were in poor condition, but fairways and greens were nice.
Great conditions!
Fairways and Greens are in peak condition. Good value for money.
Good value for money
Very playable mid level track. Back nine in my opinion is one of the nicest around.

Love this place it was perfect much better than Lakeview golf course
5 hrs
No bunkers. Hard course to walk. Nice trees. Tee boxes bad shape. Greeens ok. Few times 4 groups on a hole.
group ahead of us was very slow . we asked to play through but they said no they were going to play slower. we could see that there was no group ahead of them for three holes . I informed the starter at the turn but he did nothing
